Edge Hotel Clearwater Beach

The infinity pool is crazy full of people and kids and although a great photo op, the pool itself is cloudy and gross. To top it off, the morning we were supposed to check out we went and grabbed breakfast, and headed back upstsir at 9AM to go change and hit the pool for an hour before we checked out. While we were all undressed (including my mother and 9 year old daughter) someone from housekeeping let themselves into our room. We all started screaming and they shut the door and RAN. When we went to the front desk all the guy behind the desk said was "we will investigate it" and pretty much that was that. So beware they are letting themselves into your room when they assume you are gone, even if the sign is on the door. Also, the beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is no direct access to the beach.

My family and I really enjoyed the pool.

I love this property and the surrounding areas (close to the beach, plenty of walking distance dining options, etc). The only issue we found is that they seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. The proportion of the towels provided in the room was not correct. We were a family of 3 in 1 room and only 1 big towel and plenty of small towels. On Saturday we had a dinner reservation for my birthday and since we declined Housekeeping service we called to request towels so that we could get ready. After waiting for a bit, my husband went down to the lobby to request it personally and told them they didn't have any and they would send us some. Over an hour and a half elapsed and no towels ever arrived and it wasn't until the 3rd attempt that we got towels for us to be able to get ready. Other than this minor issue, the staff is overall pleasant and the facility is pretty and well kept.

I liked that the hotel was right on the ocean and close to everything.I didn’t like the room I was given ,room407 .The pool pump was in the maintenance room directly above mine.The noise from the pump went on all night long .I complained to the front desk but didn’t get another room until the following day. Me and my family were up all night. I had booked this hotel long before and even asked for the ocean view.The noise from the pump room was louder than the ocean

It was okay. It was hard to stand in infinity pool and talk so many kids going back and forth between pools. Had to get to sun chairs early if you wanted Sun and away from big pool. Half pool deck is in shade most the day. Drinks at bar by pool were excellent, had lunch ordered and bartenders brought over to us. Bathroom by pool wasn’t cleanest. The tile on pool deck is very slippery when wet. Saw many kids fall.

Everything was great, except housekeeping would come before 9 in the morning. I was on vacation with my kids. That’s way to early.

The hotel is in a good location and I liked that we were by the beach. The rooms were nice. The only thing that I wished they had was a game room or something for the kids, otherwise it was a nice time.

Very slippery tiles on pool deck made us not want to go to pool at all. We saw couple of people slip and fall and we decided it is not safe for us or for our kids to go there. Too bad because pool was nice.

Clean nice room but breakfest was not as i expected sometines not enough plus very limited variety and more suitable for kids then adults. No option to prepare tea or coffee...the device in the room was mostly for coffee. Swimming pool nice but small.

This hotel is beautiful and only 5-6 minutes from public beach. The entire building is very clean and has a gorgeous view from rooftop and the pool floor. Towels are provided for the pool by friendly staff. I would have liked to see a little more variety with their breakfast options. The rooms could also use a full body mirror for getting ready and maybe some pool toys for the kids (balls, noodles, fun floats). Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and will be returning.
