Edge Hotel Clearwater Beach

Very nice stay for our family of 4. Beautiful ocean view. Loved the rooftop bar/grill and poolside bar.

Great property for families.

Had a great time and were impressed with the property. The pool deck is super dangerous when wet and the breakfast food had a lot of flies around it. Other than that, everything was perfect! Staff were all very nice, clientele was family oriented, and the location was great. Thanks for a nice trip!

We’ve been coming to the Tampa area for over a decade and have FINALLY found the family-approved FAVORITE hotel! Perfect views, walkable to everywhere, great staff. Please keep it affordable so families can continue to enjoy it for years to come!

We had a great stay at Edge. The pool was perfect for our two kids. We had a corner room on the 9th floor overlooking the gulf. The view was stunning and the room was quiet. We loved the area- in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. My kids really enjoyed the Splash Harbor water park (free tickets with stay). The continental breakfast was simple, but nice for a quick breakfast on the go. My only complaint is the water pressure/temperature in the shower. Otherwise, we had a great stay and will be back!

Great stay in Clearwater beach with family of 3. Very walkable to beach, shops and dining. The hotel was clean and pool was really nice. I highly recommended the Edge hotel!

The infinity pool is crazy full of people and kids and although a great photo op, the pool itself is cloudy and gross. To top it off, the morning we were supposed to check out we went and grabbed breakfast, and headed back upstsir at 9AM to go change and hit the pool for an hour before we checked out. While we were all undressed (including my mother and 9 year old daughter) someone from housekeeping let themselves into our room. We all started screaming and they shut the door and RAN. When we went to the front desk all the guy behind the desk said was "we will investigate it" and pretty much that was that. So beware they are letting themselves into your room when they assume you are gone, even if the sign is on the door. Also, the beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is no direct access to the beach.

My family and I really enjoyed the pool.

I love this property and the surrounding areas (close to the beach, plenty of walking distance dining options, etc). The only issue we found is that they seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. The proportion of the towels provided in the room was not correct. We were a family of 3 in 1 room and only 1 big towel and plenty of small towels. On Saturday we had a dinner reservation for my birthday and since we declined Housekeeping service we called to request towels so that we could get ready. After waiting for a bit, my husband went down to the lobby to request it personally and told them they didn't have any and they would send us some. Over an hour and a half elapsed and no towels ever arrived and it wasn't until the 3rd attempt that we got towels for us to be able to get ready. Other than this minor issue, the staff is overall pleasant and the facility is pretty and well kept.
