Walls are very thin, noisy neighbours in the floor, you can hear everything … If you would like to have a rest, this old style hotel could be the wrong address. I don’t recommend this hotel for families. I am really surprised by the rating 4 stars for his hotel, it’s a 3 stars at most.

The hotel itself was awesome. It was close to everything downtown and close to the cruise port. The man up front must have been new. He took a very long time on the customer in front of us. When he got to me, he said my room had been canceled due to card issues (I called them before the stay and informed them the card I used was shut off due to fraud. They said I could update it when I arrived). The manager arrived and easily fixed the issue. I don’t blame the employee as he seemed new. But I don’t know why they would let him run a nice hotel in downtown Miami himself if he wasn’t ready. Other than that it was great and I have recommended the hotel to family going to Miami later in the month.

Room itself was nice and relaxing. Door handle on outside of door was not attached to the door and, when asled, the concierge would not move us to another room. Also, the deadbolt wouldnt fasten making our room (with 2 small children) extremely unsafe. Last, the valet they told us to use would not release our car until we paid a 2nd charge to the hotel which we were not made aware of ahead of time. Would not recommend, very disappointed.

The employees were nice and friendly.When we walked in our room everything looked fine. We just needed a room with a bed since we were there to visit family. That same night we noticed things weren't that great. There was pink mold in the shower, the towels smelled like chemicals, tiny ants roaming the room and the bed was so uncomfortable that we were aching the next day. Was expecting something better for a hotel in downtown Miami. I wouldn't stay there again.
