Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Leesburg/Mt Dora

Great friendly staff up front. Hallways and elevator smelled like marijuana. Parking lot was sketchy and wasn’t well lit. Overall, I’d stay again individually, but wouldn’t recommend as a family stay.

Great stay. The suite was perfect for the family. Could use some minor renovations to fix leaky sinks, tub, etc.

The first night was okay besides having to wait for over an hour in the lobby to check in because of miscommunications and false advertisement the second day the air wasn't working in the afternoon and we told them twice it finally cooled down after 1:00 in the morning after my husband had to clean the filter himself and they never sent anyone up to the room stating later on that it was possibly because there was a do not disturb sign on the door which was not true . It was hot all night we were even down in the lobby at 5:00 a.m. asking why they never sent anyone and the woman at the desk was very rude and was assuming that we were lying about the AC because she couldn't find it in the computer. So after being uncomfortable all night in a hot room because it is 90° outside it was also an adult and a child up and down the hallway all night long so we were trying to stay another night because we got no sleep and didn't want to travel exhausted and asked if we could get a discount for another night and was really shut down

Really tried to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt. I completed their online pre-check in. Requested that we get extra towels since there were 3 of us. When we got to the room there was a total of 3 towels and 2 wash clothes. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or hand soap. For the price of the room I really expected better. Then at 10pm some kid banged on our door and scared the crap out of my kids. One was crying and it took forever to get her to go back to sleep. While that's not the hotel's fault it left my kids scared and not feeling safe. I just explained there was a basketball tournament going on and that it was just a young boy thinking he was messing with a teammate and didn't realize he had the wrong room. Was it horrible, no, but would I stay here again? No I would not.

We enjoyed our time with the family .

This property is maintained well. The staff is very friendly, attentive and courteous. I would recommend this property to family.

Well, first stay was great. Second stay not so much ... the room was half the size that the first time and the floor was occupied by a sports group of young kids running around wild in the hall. I requested to be moved but reception could not help (everything was booked). Since I had not yet used the room I decided to leave and requested a refund. Not possible either. I left anyways, lost the payment for the first night.

It’s always clean and nice when we stay at this hotel. However, this particular rooms shower kept going hot and cold spontaneously and had very little pressure. And the guests next door had children that sounded like construction was going on in a daycare. I have raised 4 kids and understand a little noise. But this was ridiculous and we only had a chance to get a few hours sleep. The front desk said there was nothing they could do but ask them to keep it down. I feel there could have been other options. But none were offered and we weren’t able to get rest for a long day ahead of us.

This was an awful hotel. Room was dirty and old. Bathroom has a child sized toilet. Towels smelled like feces. Disgusting
