Fantastic property. Free parking. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent price. I got 2 rooms for my family here for less than what I had originally booked 1 room for at a chain hotel. Book it. You won't regret it.

We have been staying there for 30 years. My family stayed there before that. The new remodel inside is very nice. Staff has been the best.

When making my reservation I requested a ground floor and room in the back due to my daughter having surgery and I wanted her first day out of surgery quiet and comfortable. When checking in the Mgr asked how my daughters surgery went and wished me the best. I've never had staff take a personal interest in mine nor my families well being, so this was a super bonus for the staff. This is an older hotel but the hotel had free parking (another plus), clean and comfortable rooms. I would stay at this hotel again when I'm in the city.

This hotel was perfect for our family vacation. Walking distance to fisherman’s wharf, the chocolate factory, national park, Chinatown, little Italy, Alcatraz ferry, Lombard Street, the cable cars, and Francisco Park. Room was quiet and clean. Staff so friendly. Parking on site and included.

The Hotel was great, it was close to everything. My kids liked it, the wharf was a15 min walk same for the boat cruises to Alcatraz or Golden Gate Bridge... The hotel was clean and staff was very helpful

Cons: The mattress was much too firm for my husband and I so sleeping there wasn't too comfortable for us but our kids seemed fine with it. Our shower control was really sensitive when switching between hot/cold so it made for a quick shower. Free WiFi wasn't so great so we mostly relied on our phone's hot-spot connection. Pros: The A/C worked great during the hot weekend. The front desk personnel was friendly and helped us with all of our questions. The best amenity was the free parking which was easy and convenient to get to from the hotel room. Overall, compared to the other hotels within the vicinity that were priced higher, I feel we found a gem due to location + free parking (surprisingly, we ended up using our car a lot during our stay).
