We appreciated the staff, who were kind and interested in making sure we were comfortable. It was a safe space too, with excellent front door monitors. Quiet! We asked for some amenities for a family and they were were able to help us with no problem. We would come again.

Friendly staff and nice accommodations. Great place to stay if you're ever visiting San Francisco. Love the convenient location, walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 & Lombard Street, plus it's next to the F Streetcar Railway Line if you want to go to other parts of the city. Lots of souvenir shops and restaurants around nearby. Shout out to Sarah for a warm friendly welcome when I was visiting family for Thanksgiving, very helpful and she's a role model of what front desk staff should be! Will definitely consider staying here again.

Great hotel. Fitness center isn't that big, but it gets the job done (no cable machines at all). Saved a lot of money by parking at the ACE parking garage 2 blocks away for $20/day. There's a convenience store right outside the front door, which was great for snacks for the kids.

Brilliant location - polite and knowledgeable staff - comfy beds. Breakfast was ideal for a family - a la carte and sensible prices. Would stay.

Great location! Clean and good size rooms. Just wish the beds were a little more comfy. All nights there were screaming from mentally ill homeless in the walkways below. That was scary but during the say I felt safe with my family.

Comfortable, spacious room for family of 4. Easy access to dining, shopping, and tourist attractions. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful.

My boss & his family traveled from France to CA for a) work in Anaheim b) vacation afterward. It was important that I book something nice & affordable so I read all of the hotel reviews (for the SF portion of our trip). I'm glad I did! DEFINITELY bring ear plugs because there is a lot of activity throughout the night near the pier. The rooms were comfortable & well-appointed. The 2 queen beds (as opposed to full size) were exactly what my boss' family needed. If you have a car, it is $36 / night to valet. The hotel is booked year round & they are busy. Do call ahead if you need your car & follow-up with the pick-up request. Both times we called for our car it wasn't ready. The staff was apologetic & hustled to meet our needs. Do trust staff recommendations! One of our favorite meals was directly behind the hotel at Pompei's Grotto. If you want to stay near the water, this is a great hotel.

My family stayed at this hotel over the New Years weekend. This hotel is in the center of everything. You can walk to the Pier, Ghirardelli Square, and the bus/trolley stop to get you to Union Station is right around the corner. The hotel room was beautiful and the staff was nice and helpful. The beds were so comfortable and the room was very clean. A point to remember - when you stay at this hotel you are staying in the center of city so you do hear noise from outside. I am a super light sleeper so I was a little concerned but I slept fine. I would stay here again.
