Hyatt Place San Francisco Downtown

Very convenient for families Going to Oracle Park! The walk to Oracle Park is roughly 5 minutes, and there is a Taco Bell across the street open 24 hours. The free breakfast they offered was amazing as well! Would definitely visit here again

The Hyatt was convenient for my family and I being so close to the oracle stadium. Staff was friendly. The only downfall is parking isn’t so great here you have to park a block away.

Fantastic. Just as advertised. Family of 5 stayed in the same room comfortably. With one of the kids on the pull out couch. Breakfast was above average. Staff was great.

The front desk staff is wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was great with many options for long days when my family and I ventured out. The breakfast staff kept food replenished and fresh! Property is well kept and clean! The housekeeping staff does a great job. Overall wonderful stay during our family trip and I’m sure during the baseball season it’s just as well.

Went with my family and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. We had an oversized truck and they were able to accommodate us. Great location!

We had an overnight stay to spend time with family. The hotel and staff are very helpful and extremely courteous. The front desk personnel went beyond their responsibilities to help us with an issue with our car. Finally, unlike most hotels that include breakfast, their offering is nutritious, wide-ranging and delicious.

Went with my husband for a Giants game and date night, much needed get away from the kids. We planned months in advance. Paid for the high floor…hotel over booked. Gave us a room on the second floor with a window to the street. It was impossible to sleep with all the city noise. Had already paid $120 for parking and the lot was closed so it was too late to change hotels. They refused to give me my money back or even comp a night. I was given $30 for their mistake. Will NEVER stay again. The staff was wonderful but the way they do business is just wrong.

I like this hotel. I especially like the beautiful bar, and it is one of the reasons I go back, for visiting with my SF family at the end of the day. However, the bar was closed this time, on a Friday night, because of staffing issues. I was pretty disappointed. We went to another hotel bar down the street to have our visit. Another thing, the toilet was not running properly. We had to take off the back to help it re-fill which was no big deal. There is a beautiful patio on the 9th floor with outdoor furniture, but one big cushion was missing from the couch. Otherwise, I'll be back! The location is perfect for visiting family, there's a Safeway nearby and the T-Line train is very convenient. Beds and pillows are comfy, it's quiet at night. Oh, and the breakfast is amazing! Really good coffee!!!!!

Very comfortable stay on family vacations

The parking situation was horrible. I picked this hotel over others due to it advertising parking adjacent to the property for an additional charge. When we arrived I was informed that the adjacent parking was for compact cars only. Had to park a block away. That would have been great if we had known it wasnt actually parking for hotel and Safeway. It's also used by baseball attendees therefore on the 2nd night we had nowhere to park. The staff was not helpful. The room was nice but advertised as a 1 bedroom which it did not have. It had a separate sleeping area open to an area with a couch bed. When traveling with kids, having a separate bedroom was important to us. These 2 things would keep me from staying here again.
