Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles - Glendale

Upon check in room AC makes a loud sound and was downgraded to a smaller room, we needed to return most of our luggages back to our vehicle as they promised to move us to a similar room on the next day, we told them that we are going to be at universal studious the whole day and imagine all of your belongings are still inside you vehicle, in top of that, when we were moved to the smaller room and when I was going to take a shower, there was no shower gel, I have to call the front desk again to request that! The next day when we got back we were place at the the highest floor and the room had only two towels, we are a family of four and after spending the whole day at Universal Studios , of course all of us wanted to take a bath and shower, my wife called the front desk and requested for two towels and face towels! The place is pretty used up for a newer hotel in Glendale! There were no laundry too for hotel guests and all of the ice makers were broken it started on the 5th flor and then all of them broke!!! The good side was accessibility of the hotel to The Americana and Glendale galleria. Hampton Inn has good parking with reasonable price and nice breakfast daily!

The check in was easy and plenty of parking. There is two parking lots. I liked how you have to use your hotel key to access and exit the parking lot. The breakfast was ok - scrambled eggs, sausages, muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, fruit and waffles. The waffles you make yourself with the waffle maker which my kids loved. The room was decent but the noise outside was a lot. Cars going by, ambulances and a man screaming outside one of the nights. I wish the second curtains would close all the way because in the morning the bright sunlight came though. The shower was a little slippery so had to be careful when entering and exiting it. You do have to call for housekeeping when you need it. We just asked for new towels, toilettes and a bathroom refresh.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Management was nice enough to let my family stow luggages while we enjoyed the remainder of our trip. Breakfast was great and a perfect location near almost everything. Would highly recommend

We love the location of this hotel when we visit out grandchildren.
