Regency Inn Los Angeles

Centrally located to a lot of attractions. 15-20 mins from most of the places a family would go. Universal, Dodgers Game, downtown, Hollywood Sign etc. great Local pools and shopping as well. No frills and the staff are great.

Nice room and comfortable beds, it fitted my family perfectly. Definitely will be staying in this hotel in the near future.

The hotel we stay was perfect for my little family to stay and wasn’t too far where we were going. We all love the hotel we stay and will be coming back to stay at LA.

If you are exploring the Los Angeles area, you will definitely need a car to get around, so I liked that this property includes free parking with your reservation. The area is relatively safe, and a short drive/long walk from a walkable community with good restaurants etc. It's about 20 min to Universal Studios. Parking lot was clean and well lit. We were placed on the third floor, and the two flights of stairs were pretty easy going up. The room itself was as clean as possible, but could use a few minor cosmetic touch ups. In our king bed room was a desk, chair, sofa, coffee table, microwave, mini fridge, night stands, Keurig machine, electric kettle, and blow dryer. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, as well as the pillows, and our linens and towels were always changed and clean. The only thing that keeps me from rating this a full five stars is that the walls are pretty thin for my preference. Our first night the guests next door were partying until dawn and I could hear everything. I'm a light sleeper, but my boyfriend hardly heard a thing as he's a heavy sleeper. So just keep that in mind if you're traveling with infants or small children. Overall, our stay went well and we would consider staying here again.

Nice family owned motel. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Blackout curtains helped me sleep in. My only complaint is the parking is limited. I would 100% stay again.

Quiet room for family trip. Location is good for famous places.

Outstanding value for proximity to a lot of Hollywood tourist spots. It’s an older hotel that has been given a refreshing facelift. Not the Ritz but worked well for our family of 5 for a night. Felt clean & safe. Parking is in a courtyard lot nicely enclosed by the rooms & well lit. Small staff (nobody was at the check-in desk when we arrived a little early) but they did everything they could to take good care of us. WIFI was free but we had no luck connecting. Beds were big & comfortable, the pull-out sofa was plenty long for a 14-year old boy. It didn’t have any sheets & they brought some to us right away. No complaints, a hidden jewel in a land of expensive lodging.

PROs: A real gem for budget stay for my family of 5. Staff are great. Amenities: family suite got refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee with pods, water heater/ kettle for tea. CONs: 3 story building with no elevator and watch your step - gets slippery with rain Location is by freeways so you can hear sirens and cars - but you can sleep through it all. (But for this price, still a great place to stay)

There was no elevator and we were out on the third floor, and having two toddlers and our stuff it was just a pain to get back and forth. The room had flying ants, they only gave us three towels, also I picked the hotel because it said they had a bath/shower which they didn’t. We were supposed to stay two nights and we couldn’t deal with the stairs so we stayed the one night left to a different hotel. The pictures also paint a good picture but when you get there it’s definitely not what you expect. All in all we will never stay there again.
