Hyatt Place Glendale / Los Angeles

Absolutely awful!! Arrived at 9 pm to a 80 degree room. Family of 6 we were exhausted from driving 9 hours. Room never cooled down. 6 people in a room with no ventilation was miserable. Gave us a box fan to use. Our entire family was up all night. We got up and left early. Since I booked through hotels.com no refund occurred. I was giving rewards points. We will not be back!!!

Staff was extremely helpful and car valet was quick and friendly. Love having the pull out beds in all the rooms and a couch to lounge instead of the beds. Beds are comfortable, kids loved the pool and it’s in a convenient spot to walk to many different dining options. Breakfast is great too.

I was in town for business; I had my nanny with me to watch my newborn while I was at conference. The surrounding is perfect; you're in the heart of Glendale! There are plenty of restaurants and sights to see (the indoor mall, the outdoor Americana, etc) all within walking distance. These reasons are why we chose to stay here. The staff were friendly, the hotel is conveniently located, there is valet ons site...all good things, but here are the "bad" - no Room Service, cleanliness was not to high standard. Outside of those 2 things, this property was not bad. I will be exploring other options the next time I come back for business here, but if I can't find anything else; I wouldn't mind staying here again.

The exceptional customer service made up for two separate room issues! Jun on the staff was a breath of fresh air and probably provided the best customer service I have experienced in years! The front desk staff and valet staff were also very good. The bad was we were sent to an already occupied room on day one and then moved to a different room on day 2. The room move wasn’t the problem though because we understood there was a random leak, the problem was the lady at the front desk promised a room upgrade and a free meal for the inconvenience but we didn’t receive either. We got a $40 credit for a meal that cost $100 for our family and no room upgrade. I would still give a 5-star review though because the rest of the staff was a bright spot in a tough vacation experience.

The hotel is nice. When we got our room it did not have any toilet paper, Kleenex or towels. We had to ask the front desk. When the items were delivered the person did not knock before entering our room, he just helped himself in. That was not good! We spoke to the manager but nothing was done. The manager is a young kid with zero experience in customer service!!!!

The front desk woman at checked in told us our reservation was wrong and she did not have a 2 queen room for our family of 5 and we were being given a king. She kept repeating I guess the reservation is wrong, their computers crashed temporarily and eventually with our push back we were given a 2 queen room. We paid for a view room and have a 2nd floor room with a view of the buildings next door and a 7’ utility box.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Great service , great location, valet was convenient. Would’ve given 5 stars except for there was no vent or fan in bathroom. And ac in room took forever to start. Also breakfast seemed to run out of options quickly. But the cafe was great to order from for lunch or dinner. Also the pool is open late . Great for the kids!

Loved how spacious the rooms were specially comfortable for our 10 month old baby to run around. Our stay was excellent!

This was the perfect place for visiting family close by. It also was close to the Galleria and great food.

Amazing staff! Super friendly and helpful all that of them not just front desk and always available for anything I needed. Valet was pricey but totally worth it. Didn’t have to worry about my car at all. Breakfast was great a lot of options for my family.
