Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites El Dorado Hills, an IHG Hotel

This is a clean, safe hotel in a nice area. It was perfect for a quick trip to visit friends and family in the area. The hotel offers a basic breakfast which was perfect for our children.

Very clean and the staff are awesome! We will return and refer this facility to friends and family

Staff were young kids, didn't seem to happy about their jobs.

This was a good place to stay overnight with my husband and 2 kids when visiting family. The room and bathroom were clean. Staff was friendly.

1st floor gets cockroaches we had one in our room as soon as we checked in they say they spray for them but it’s normal they have them 😬 Concierge all the guys were very nice but the women are just witches! the lady who checked us in was like totally attitude not willing to help with Any request not a very welcoming person at all.. she’s also the one that came out to the pool to tell or should I say yell at the 6 people there including me my mom and two kids 4&7 years old the pool was closed to get out!! while her disgusting tone made my little boy extremely frightened she impatiently waited for us to leave and my kids were like a nervous wreck picking up a few of there toys and telling me “ hurry mom she’s going to take us to jail” i Mean there is definitely no reason to act like that or speak to people in such tones for no reason it was just so uncalled for

My grandkids and I loved this hotel. The employees were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the pool and hot tub were great. Will definitely stay here again, but will choose a pool or “lake” view room next time. (I booked late this trip so there were fewer choices available.)

Check-in was easy; I had two one-night reservations, due to the uncertainty of dates (new baby). One was on the ihg website, the other on hotels.com (because the hotel website had no double queen rooms left for some reason). Neither was a problem, and the attendant made sure we stayed in the same room both nights. It was the bottom floor; true, I had made the reservation on the late side and there aren't as many double queen rooms. But I always ask for a higher room - or if that is impossible, one that is not directly below children - the thumping from above is loud enough to wake me up in the morning (which it did). This room was also an adjoining one, which meant we did not have the insulation from the room next door, which unfortunately had two screaming kids until after 11:00, and loud speaking about 7:00 a.m. the next morning. After a long day helping with grandkids, we did not have a peaceful evening, either night. We've been coming to this hotel pretty often the past couple of years. Quite awhile ago, we noticed the ice machine on the 4th floor leaked; the next visit, it was gone - it has never returned. About four visits ago we noticed the 1st floor ice machine was broken - it still is. Our last visit only one machine had ice - and it wasn't on our floor. Inconvenient. The breakfast was good but slammed Sunday, especially with only one person working part of the time. Overall, the hotel is nice and the staff is great - and helpful. We will be coming back!

Staff was rude. Didnt feel comfortable i was fromohio alone and was accused of soemthing i didnt do. Thenpeoplw next to us had kids. Not happy at all. My trip was horridic and this was first and last.trip to.cal. I WAS DRUGGED THERE THANKNGOD I MAD iT BACK TO OHIO
