Best Western Athens Inn

We have stayed here for about 14 years. Alone, family and with our grandchildren. This was my first visit with our puppy. They put me in a pet friendly room that I pay extra for. It was the worst stay we have had. Staff reminded me of motel 6 staff. I was so disappointed.

Wonderful safe place for the family

Our room was very clean! The bed was so comfortable! I would definitely recommend this Best Western to family and friends. The staff was friendly and so helpful. We had an issue getting in our room and they came and helped us immediately. Then we had a problem with our TV remote and they came within a few minutes to get that fixed. The breakfast was good. We ate some eggs and biscuits and gravy and took a couple of Nutrigrain bars for the road. It was like most other hotel breakfasts. Hard to keep it warm for the whole time it's waiting to be consumed. But we microwaved it and it was good.

Property was spotless, staff extremely courteous and helpful and hotel seemed to be recently renovated. Major bang for your buck! Was a great place for us to stay on an extended visit with nearby family for the holidays.

Only stay here is you want to spend your night hearing drunk/high people outside your room threatening to kill each other and talking about how many grams of come they scored that night till 2 in the morning. I spent the night making a plan of how to save my kids if things turned south quickly.

Property overall was nice and kid friendly.
