InterContinental London - The O2, an IHG Hotel

Great location for the O2 and greenwich. Great pool, spa and gym facilities. Let down by room not being made up for family of four, did not make up sofa bed until 9:30pm after asking for this 4-5x after checking in late afternoon. Also could not plug in fire stick as socket under tv was round pins

We love this hotel. The staff are consistently excellent and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. On this occasion we were let down a little by a very slow check in, room keys that didn't work (it's a long trek back to reception with a small child) and no cot in the room despite it being confirmed in advance. Given the premium cost this was a nuisance.

Very comfortable room and quiet. Nice view of the river. Location is good for the tube and obviously the O2 arena. Plenty of places to eat at the O2 and outlet shopping. Breakfast is superb with a great choice of hot and cold food. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Lovely swimming pool with sauna and steam room. One complaint would be that children are only allowed in the pool between 9 and 11am and 3:30 until 5:30pm. I could not see this restriction on the website when I booked (other hotels had stipulated this so I avoided those as we had our grandson with us). Great hotel and reasonably priced for London. One tip, don’t catch the 188 into Russell Square unless you have a couple of hours to spare! We eventually got off and caught the tube.

The staff were great. Checkin great. Initial view of the dome was horrid, but they changed our room to get a view of the river and canary wharf which was beautiful. Swimming pool is nice and rather large for London with a good few hours for kids. However the pool was too cold. Breakfast was fantastic and breakfast staff were the friendliest I have seen in London. Overall a great experience.

We enjoyed a 1 night break at the IHG O2 whilst attending a concert. The room was on the 10th floor with great views of the O2. It was large, clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable! We received a complementary drink voucher on arrival and an early checkin and slightly upgraded room as gold members. Breakfast was excellent, a great variety and friendly efficient service despite being very busy. Lovely views! We didn’t use the spa as too busy and too many children to relax in sadly. We enjoyed the Clipper Bar but found the 18th floor bar a bit soulless. Overall a great, short stay!
