Hotel was fine but no realistic evening dinning after 7.30pm. A bit pricey for the lack of restaurant support. When I asked to extend my stay I was offered a much smaller room at an additional third of the price I was paying. When I asked about the logic behind this (they had Many unsold rooms) i was told that’s the way it is… It wouldn’t have bothered me so much had the desk clerk not told me that usually rooms that size without a realistic chance of sale go for c£99 a night. Not the £340 I was being quoted to extend. My original room was a junior suite and c£250 so you can see my concern on pricing…

We went as a family for the weekend ( 31st March to 3rd of April) to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. The room was spacious and very clean. The staffs were friendly and helpful all through our stay. There was a little mix up with my room arrangement but the manager was so helpful and understanding in dealing with the situation. She sorted out the issue and I'm extremely grateful to her for this. All in all we had a wonderful time during our stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Hotel charged an extra 70 pounds on arrival as the would not give a normal room to us with a child . 9.30 at night was extremely unhelpful and would never stay again.

Exceptionally clean hotel and the room was spotless. The staff were so friendly and helpful, would certainly recommend The Lansbury to my friends and family.
