Good Hotel London

- Two single beds and mattresses pushed together - Couldn't open the window for fresh air, also our AC was turned off and locked from downstairs. We had to go down and ask them to turn it back on - some members of staff were genuinely lovely, however some were very odd and gave us awkward judgy looks instead of conversation. - weird lifesize picture of child in the room that seems to look at you when you're in bed - shower drain still had hair stuck in it, had to clean before using - insanely cold and windy location, far from everything and with little to do other than the cable car (which is savagely overrated). Also the area is notoriously unsafe with constant muggings. - there was nothing to keep food and drink cold, so had to either get takeout or eat out every night - they gave us hair and body wash as hand soap in the room... - breakfast was nice however.

No TV in the room which is the first hotel room we have ever had without one this was not mentioned at the point of booking, room was cold even with the air-con on Only 1 usb port that did not work Room was expensive for the size and facilities Breakfast was really good Downstairs area on the side with the view of the dock was closed off for a baby shower for most of the Sunday

I loved the fact that profits went towards children in unprivileged countries. The experience was very wholesome and memorable as I was welcomed by the little ‘worry dolls’. I hadn’t experienced a service like this before. The only issue I had was that the room was freezing cold and didn’t get any warmer as I increased the temperature of the room.

Super easy check in. Room size ok, comfy bed. Bathroom was a abit run down, floor was very sticky , patchy, hair in shower drain, black stains bottom of shower but was warm & functioning. Carpet was worn out. No tv. Great tea/coffee facilities albeit I had to move the kettle as no plug socket were it was placed. I wanted a snack as I got in late the staff offered me a muffin very hospitable. Found that the muffin cost was £5.75 which was high for what it was so do ask the price before. Check out was easy too albeit a queue so extra staff was called. I like what the hotel stood for the charity element supporting childrens education etc so I guess that made up for the flaws.
