Hotel du Vin & Bistro Winchester

Me and my young baby had a lovely stay. Staff kindly reserved the largest parking space for us so that we had plenty of room to get in and out. They helped us with our bags and we’re just generally really welcoming and helpful. The food was lovely and the rooms are so beautifully furnished. The one improvement I would make are the cots provided are quite dated and uncomfortable. I would bring my own in future.

We had an exceptional stay here. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. Monica at the front desk greeted us with a big smile and made us and our little doggie feel very welcome. We had a junior suite so had a little front patio area with chairs & table which was fab to sit out in the morning with our coffee. It had some shrubbery as well between all the rooms in this private garden area & was perfect for having the dog. The staff gave us a bed & water bowl for him too. Breakfast was nice & the lady who served us kindly set us up a table in the bar so we could eat with the doggie, as he rightly so wasn’t allowed in the Bistro. Very good location, 5 mins walk to Winchester high street. Highly recommend & would defo stay here again! 5***

Stayed for one night in April. Location was very good, close to town centre and walkable to everything we wanted to get to. We had a baby with us, so no lift was a bit tricky, but the staff were more than happy to help us with the buggy everytime. Staff were excellent throughout the hotel. We arrived a bit early, but room was ready and we had a nice lunch in the restaurant before heading out. We got a great rate through expedia, so room value was really good, but as with most good hotel, food and drink was a little on the pricey side, but at least at this hotel you get the good service and quality to go with it.
