We had the whole family to stay for our wedding for 5 days, so at times around 20 people for dinner which they handled very well. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff,the meals were fantastic (and they had real ale which was a bonus). Cant thank all the staff enough,they looked after my now wife the entire time making sure she had what she needed... and the gift before we left was truly touching... thank you so much... wont be back for my wedding ,but hopefully someone else's!!!!

Lovely family run hotel. Staff all friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food and service brilliant.Loved staying here and would highly recommend to others. If needed to visit Southampton again this is the first place I’d book.

Wonderful stay in Southampton. Quaint, family owned and near all the attractions. Clean and tidy rooms, comfy beds, and helpful front seat staff. Fish and chips is excellent! Will stay again.

Three bed family room for 3 adults was a great option for us. It was very spacious and comfortable. It is within walking distance of a great park, a supermarket and a great curry house The Kohinoor Only downside was a couple of niggles in the room: Curtain rail hanging off and a loose handle on the bathroom that felt like it was going to fall off. Also, struggled to get the shower cool enough

The stay was as expected, and totally nice experience. Only thing i would say is originally i booked the hotel room for myself, on the day, my 10 year old daughter decided to come and i was charged an extra £ 9.00 for her to stay, when i thought it was a room rate and i would have expected a child to be free if staying with me as i booked a room rate?

I have stayed here now on a number of occasions and each time the level of service has been so high. There is something to be said for family run businesses. ALL of the staff are so welcoming.
