Stay here was great. Very family freindly. There is a waterfront park out the back which makes in convenient to walk our dog. Some of the facilities we not accessible due to renovations (squash court, hot tub). We were able to use the pool ans fitness centee. Some floors are under renovation, but will be great when completed. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was very nice.

Disappointing. The only benefits of this hotel are the proximity to the Scotiabank Arena & the view of the water. Valet parking is the only option. They surprise you with this when you arrive AND charge $55 for it. I paid a little extra to get a nicer room and was very disappointed. There was food left in the fridge and the mirror had children’s hand & feet prints all over it. Would definitely not stay at this hotel again. I wonder how much you actually have to spend to get your money’s worth these days 😒

The staff are friendly but I had an issue. At 1:30 am, there was knocking and agressuve banging from something trying to get in my room. I called Front desk and the first time no one answered. The second time, I was told someone would come patrol our floor. After a bit, we ,invluding young grandchildren who were frightened, got back in bed. About a half an hour later, the msn was back again knocking, and pushing at the door. I called front desk again and he said security would come. I looked through tge peep hole snd the nan was aggressively trying to open it. By then my husband yelled at him through the door to "get the h*ll out of here" and he disappeared before security came. I did talk to them, they took it seriously and were very professional. However, you don't expect to encounter this at an expensive hotel. I was toldwhen I checked out it was a drunk guest on the wrong floor but nothing was offered for compensation so disappointed.

We liked the addition of a DJ in bar area as well as the coffee shop in the morning. Very convenient. Although service in bar area is very slow and mediocre at best. We didn’t have anyone clean our room all weekend despite being asked at Check-in and confirming we DID want a clean. Dirty dishes left in the hallway all weekend from others’ room service. Gross! Room not very clean. We got 2 water bottles but The drinking glasses had so much dust in them so they aren’t cleaned very often!! No basic extras like cotton swabs or Q-tips. And maybe the most annoying thing was awful old pillows - just lumps. There was mass confusion at check out regarding our parking. They had record of one car but not the other despite it being Valet parked for two days! So they were very concerned I would drive away and then I had to go back to settle up with a toddler in the car. Frustrating departure. Not necessary had they just confirmed all costs at check out. We book this hotel every year for the same event and I think we will go to X hotel next time. More money but apparently worth the extra for the quality and service

Always an awkward place. Better suited to a conference than a family trip

The beds were supposed to be doubles but they were like a twin bed; The couch had dog hair all over it; the sliding door to the balcony was broke and the slates of cement on the balcony were loose; the baseboard on the wall behind the bathroom door had cracks and dirt; the toilet is to low and doesn’t have a safety arm rail by the toilet or in the shower this is very important for safety reasons especially for elderly ppl or someone with bad knees; there was literally never anyone at the concierge desk - I stood there when I was trying to check out and flagged down a gentleman walking by that desk to check me out; the balcony view was beautiful and the staff were wonderful always a warm greeting and efficient when we needed items for the room. The ice machines were Lu acted in storage rooms were they kept the dirty dishes; The jacuzzi didn’t gave any hers working at full power so it just felt like you were sitting in a hot tube of water; The Judd splash and play zone we’re not in service do we had to deal with underage kids in the jacuzzi which according to your rules if you are not 16 you are not supposed to be in the jacuzzi; The steam room was not in service; honestly you could have made the jacuzzi and steam room much larger you dont need all those lockers - each room when working can only accommodate 3 ppl - The entire decor in the rooms needs to be updated especially those old couches.

Stayed at the Westin for a short family trip to Toronto. Location was great as it’s walking distance to major attractions and the water front. Downside was that we were there during renovations and the room we had was not yet renovated so carpets were buckled, walls were scuffed etc. we found the kids room and pool areas very beneficial as it was a place for the little ones to run around and make a mess, however their TV was not connected to the internet due to construction.
