King Blue Hotel Toronto

We booked one-night at this place bc we wanted a very restful stop before another long flight home (we were coming back from Europe to Hawaii), as our 2 families had 4 kids between us. We had requested adjacent rooms months ago which they weren't able to accommodate. We came in very late in the evening and one of the rooms was accidentally given away, and for the other, when they opened the room, another party was in that unit. Needless to say we felt that somehow all the careful reservations/planning ahead of time was all bungled up and after a very long few days of traveling with kids, we just wanted to rest and be together. I do want to say that that front desk did try their best to accommodate us, which we did appreciate. For one family, we got an extra room and a $100 dining credit. For the other, another $100 dining credit. While all very nice efforts, the kids down the hall is not ideal, and while the food was excellent, we didn't explore the restaurants in the area bc we felt we needed to use the credit so we really didn't need to stay so far from the airport since all we were going to do was to head back to the airport for another flight. Regardless, the hotel itself was beautiful and the restaurant terrific. I would definitely give it another try if we got a good deal and could stay longer in the city.

Would highly recommend close to the rogers centre rooms very clean pool is great for kids.

Everything! Great stay with the family! Staff was very nice, Kids had fun in the pool, beds were very comfortable and walking distance to the Rogers centre was close! We’ll be back :)

Everything about the hotel was a "10"! The location was perfect-not far from the waterfront area, close to restaurants, and not far from shopping. The room was spacious, the beds were sooo comfortable, and the accommodations in the room were top notch. I definitely will stay there when I visit Toronto in the future and will tell friends and family about our great experience!

My daughter and I loved this hotel. We were here for a six night vacation. Uber had no problem picking us up on the little side street in front. There were plenty of really nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Our room and bath were spacious, and clean. We could tell that this hotel had been newly renovated. There was also daily housekeeping. The beds were nice and comfortable with fluffy pillows. I wish my bed at home felt like this. After a long day of excursions, we were able to get a quiet night's sleep. Our room had a microwave, and refrigerator. How often do you have both? We were always greeted with a smile from the staff at the desk, and housekeeping in the hallways. A special thanks to Ivan and Samir, who were helpful in showing us how to access international calling on our cell phones. This is definitely the place to stay while in Toronto. We will also recommend this hotel to all of our friends, and family.

Overall subpar service and amenities for the price. The rooms itself was comfortable, but the walls are not soundproofed and you could hear every little thing both outside the building and inside … where some kids were clearly having a good time slamming doors for most of our first night there. Won’t be coming back.

This is an excellent option for staying in Toronto. Great proximity to restaurants, shopping, and events. Hotel was beautiful, clean, and they have an amazing staff (professional and courteous). Would definitely recommend it to friends and family and we look forward to staying there again.

Location, location! My family and I recently traveled to Toronto, and stayed at the King Blue Hotel. We were first timers to Toronto, so this hotel was in a fantastic location. It's walking distance to many points of interest, restaurants, coffee shops, etc., and there is a street car stop conveniently located right outside the hotel. The hotel itself is really nice. Loved the large shower in the bathroom. The room was nice except the carpeting had some stains in it(my only complaint). Otherwise the bed was comfy, and there is a microwave, mini fridge and safe in the room, which is convenient. I found the hotel staff to be courteous and helpful.
