Prestige Kamloops Hotel

The hotel and staff were great, the only thing that was a problem for us was the other guests. It seemed as though there was a large amount of some group of people (volleyball team?) Staying in the hotel and they were very very loud and disruptive for us as other guests not part of their group. They sat in the lobby until late drinking and being very loud which made walking in and out of the hotel uncomfortable and staff did not have issues with this when it seemed at the very least they shouldnt have allowed alcohol consumption in the lobby. They also made the pool uncomfortable for our children. They again were unreasonably loud, didnt leave space for others, made rude comments to us and our children and were taking photos of us? The amount of people and the level of noise and the lack of room in common spaces due to their presence were a huge disappointment and definitely made our stay unenjoyable. We did wish staff would have taken control of the chaotic common spaces

My 5 year old son and I loved to large comfortable room we shared. He thought the waterslide and pool area were great! Overall a good location, quiet and very clean place to spend the night. Great for families.

Great hotel for families, the family room is spacious and the water slide is a blast. Would recommend

If you plan on using the water slide you can’t unless a front desk person is in the pool area not a fun place if you plan on taking your kids.

Fast and friendly check in. Clean updated room. Comfortable beds. Walking distance to several restaurants and to a 7-eleven for snacks.Easy access to the highway to travel into Kamloops to visit with family. Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

good location, lots of restaurants near it, renovated new, beds are comfy, room was clean, staffs were friendly, kid liked the pool and hot tub, enjoyed our stay and would come again

Sliding door of the washroom design looks saving space and trendy design but easy get trapped ! It shared the door with the closet. If you come out of the washroom and your kid is getting something in the closet ..

Nice new place. Clean and comfy rooms/beds with easy access to the hiway. Pool was warm and the kids loved it.

My family and I stayed at the Prestige Hotel as an overnight on our way to Vancouver from Northern BC. After driving all day we arrived around midnight with two sleeping children. We put them straight into bed without turning on any lights and brushed our teeth by the light of our phones. In the morning we found something disgusting on our bathroom wall. When I called the front desk they seemed non-plussed. Eventually they conceded to speak to their manager. The manager, Steve, came to our room. After looking at the wall he wiped up the mess WITHOUT USING GLOVES and then proceeded to question US about why it might be there. A turn of events we did not expect. We have two small children, one of who is in diapers, so it is highly unlikely they got bodily fluids half way up the wall. The implication is then that it was one of us adults who made a disgusting mess on the wall and promptly called the front desk to complain about it!?! A simple apology and a splash of humility would have gone a long way but Steve doubled down on saying it must be us as one of their “good” cleaners had done the room. After he wiped it all off the wall he went so far as to say that it was “fresh” and the last guest had been gone since 8am the day before. The giant stain that it left on the wall said otherwise. At check out Steve doubled down again this saying this must have been done by us “perhaps unintentionally” at which point he offered to take $50 off our room bill while making small talk, wh
