Coast Kamloops Hotel & Conference Centre

Good for family with indoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Walking proximity to restaurants and stores.

We liked the pool at this property. It is definitely dated, dark and the beds aren’t the comfiest. I feel like the price doesn’t match the value , but it wasn’t a terrible experience. I most likely wouldn’t stay here again. My child loved the pool and we didn’t get to try the restaurant. The walk out rooms were surprisingly not to loud.

This hotel was a good and clean hotel. I was surprised and happy by the salt water pool and how warm it was. Beds were comfortable and room was tidy. My kiddo also appreciated the hot chocolate packets in the room.

Stayed here for a conference. Restaurant was really good And the pool and hot tub area are good for kids. Not really walkable but for the conference it was great

During our stay there was a local hockey tournament. The kids were great the parents were horrible. The parents took over the pool area, drank then began to argue between team parents. It was a gong show, finally after a couple hours the police were called. I fought I’ll bring my grandkids there again! .

The room was very dingy looking and smelled of cigarette smoke when we checked in, the flusher on the toilet was broken, the latch lock was broken on the door. We were supposed to have a pull out couch in the room and did not. I had to go purchase an air mattress for my children to sleep on, we could not get another room because there was nothing else available, we were in from Kelowna from a soccer tournament. The room was not even comparable to the pictures they show on the website. The staff accused the kids on the team of being loud and disturbing after quiet time and threatened to fine each room $500 when they were doing nothing. Every other hotel in the area offer a complimentary breakfast and they offer nothing. The $700 I paid for the 2 night stay I am very disappointed and will not recommend them.

I booked a premium king with parlor. It was supposed to have a private bed. They acted surprised when we brought our 3 year old with us. Then acted like they gave us an upgrade but in fact we were moved to beside the stairwell, in a room without a private bedroom! Couldn't get our kid to sleep because that same weekend the hotel was booked solid with kids for a tournament and they ran up and down the stairs and elevator screaming, right behind the bed where we are trying to kid our toddler to sleep. The pool area was like the lord of the flies... no bathtub. I would not book here again.

This is such a wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious, staff is lovely and the courtyard is relaxing. On the weekends there are always a lot of kids having a fabulous time in the pool which might be disruptive to some but I like the sounds of kids having fun. If you don’t I would suggest you avoid the rooms facing the courtyard. My only complaint is parking can be an absolute nightmare when there are events going on in the convention center. Unfortunately this has been a significant problem for me more than once. Not being able to find parking within a block of the hotel you are staying at is a big inconvenience. I do really like this hotel. I am hopeful that the management will take some extra steps to secure parking for registered guests.

The pool is the best! Great family sized room too!

The bed was comfortable, our room was clean, the housekeeping staff were nice. We did not have a hair dryer in our room. Luckily family was in the next room and we could share. The shower never got hot.
