The property is next to many restaurants and a family friendly area with water play areas for kids. There were food trucks and vendors set up most days we were there, and a permanent locally made vendor store next door. The elevators are accessible from inside and outside which allowed us quick access to the shipyard. It’s close to the sea bus to Vancouver too.

Seaside Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Thoughtful decor and appliances make for a luxurious feel throughout the property. The location is incredible; there are so many restaurants within a 5 minute walk, easy access to the Spirit trail, and the view of downtown Vancouver is amazing. The guest service is excellent; any request we made was quickly and cordially fulfilled. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family, and hope to return next time I come to Vancouver!

My husband and I stayed here for a week. I loved everything about it except for the pillows, didn’t provide enough neck support, so I ended up with a sore neck in the mornings. I hope the hotel would consider investing in memory foam pillows. Despite that I’d still recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Great location and nice rooms. Great activities and dining surrounding the Shipyards. Walked to the foot ferry for a trip downtown. Great home base for adult get away. If traveling with young children I might look next door for a pool and family friendly amenities.

The location was the main factor for my stay: very convenient for the Seabus to Vancouver, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from in the area, a family-friendly, well-used plaza, and shops. The price point was also reasonable for the trendy neighborhood.
It is a boutique hotel with some uniqueness and helpful staff. Despite the room being snug for 2 beds and 2 people, the bed was comfortable and came with a selection of pillows. The modern bathroom was functional, although lacking hooks to hang towels.
The single-handle faucets were stylish, however, frustrating as they required guesswork to gauge the temperature, which meant wasting water.
The AC unit was 'industrial' and loud. For a new, modern hotel, I found this puzzling.
Despite these issues, I would stay again for the area's atmosphere and convenience.

A really nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. The location is great for families to have a nice time in the playing yard in front of the hotel and also lots of nice dining options just steps away. The only issue was the WIFI internet service which was a challenge to connect specially for laptops and they need to improve it.

Great hotel, 2nd visit. Downside is there’s no lounge to sit and chat with family or get a drink, only the restaurant.

The Shipyard area was new to me. It was nice to have the waterfront at my steps and having plenty of options for dining in a walkable area with a toddler. It is not as busy and hectic as downtown Vancouver which was a plus.

This property is right on the water from next to the shipping yards that have been turned into a public point of interest and gathering place. Nostalgic and unique. Friendly to family. Beautiful view of Vancouver City across the bay.
