The building needs upgrades, our next door was so loud till 3am with music, shouting and laughing! Both little ones got terrified and cannot sleep whole night

It was awesome. Unforunately, we had to leave a day early due to a family emergency and the front desk immediately said he would not charge us for this night. very kind and thoughtful.

To loud,no insulation in walls or above you. Listened to screaming kids next door for 3 days. The people above us thumping everytime they walked.

Family friendly, they brought in a playpen for my baby to sleep in. Great location, walking distance to everything you need. Older building, but renovated suits. Staff were friendly. Definately will stay there again.

I was given this recommendation to stay here from a family member. It is in an ideal quiet location. right across from Beacon Hill Park. Within walking distance of shopping and other tourist points. Parking was very convenient and affordable. The room was very modernized, spacious and clean. While there was no elevator the staff offered to help with the luggage. And while there are no on-site dining facilities there are hot drinks available in the room and lobby and dining and coffee options nearby. A wonderful delightful find in beautiful Victoria!

We were pleasantly surprised by the Helm’s Inn as had never heard of it and were not sure what to expect. Was a great set up for our family with a balcony to store our bikes and easy accessibility to Victoria Harbor. Was a quiet setting, rooms were clean and with lots of space. I found booking a room other than through Expedia to be difficult (didn’t seem to be an obvious option to book directly with the hotel) so a bit more work when having to change our reservation.

Visited Victoria with family which was a party of 8. Stayed in two rooms. It was a lovely location! Just close enough to everything. Loved the kitchenette. Such friendly and helpful stay! Will definitely be back!
