I booked the hotel for the kids get together trip to Vancouver Island and the girls loved it. Its close vicinity to downtown Victoria made it very convenient for the girls activities around that area. The girls were greeted with my name showing on the screen when they walked in the hotel. The checkin and checkout were a breeze for first timer teenager travelers travel alone. The girls all had good time there and highly recommended the hotel.

Besides the excellent staff and attention to our needs, on heading to Vancouver we realized we left our passports in the hotel safe. We immediately contacted the hotel desk (Christine), and one other person (darned it, I can't remember her name). They were both extremely helpful and took care of us as if we were family. For such a small cost, they arranged to have the passports flown by seaplane to Vancouver to an office steps away from the hotel we stayed. We were both amazed at how easy they made this whole frightening process took, and how personable they were. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!! If either of them ever come to the San Francisco bay area, we'd love to take them out on the town!

Everything was very good except housekeeping on the second day was very sloppy, only one of the two beds were done properly, washroom was not cleaned, towels were only replaced but missing one pair, did not replace soap or lotion, no coffee, cup or creme replacement and did not wipe the cabinet top. It’s really disappointing. Our family of four will not be staying there again.

Most of staff were amazing. They were extremely kind and amazing. The valet when we are arrived could have help more. It was late, dark and I was there with my tired child. Instead of offering assistance , he kinda of stood there. Also, check in staff was okay. Did his job. Not the friendly and supportive staff that my family is use to for this chain of hotels. Also the room was very dark and lights were all over the room. It was kinda scary arriving at night when you don’t know where the light switches are. The floors had some sticky spots and glass wear was dusty and scattered around the room. Some glasses in the closet, some on the table and some in the bathroom. Looks like the room was also used for storage.

MC Club was great! Open 24hrs worked well for my family. Located a block behind the Fairmont and main waterfront hub. Getting around was east as the area is very walkable. The only issue was the person at check-in provided no information on amenities, surroundings area, maps, etc.. the room was large, clean and had a view of the water. I’d stay here again.
