Thank you for our stay at the Manor Suites Royal Scot Hotel. We had a one bedroom with king size bed and a sofa bed which was surprisingly comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped for our simple needs of breakfast and no real cooking, although there is an oven that is a good size. The suite was large, very clean (compliments to the housekeeping staff), and the location is excellent. We enjoyed our balcony that also allowed for great air flow during the recent very hot spell. Two fans were also provided and we were very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone travelling, including families such as us. We would stay again. Thank you!

Let’s be clear, the property is dated. Almost to the point of being a “theme” hotel stuck in the 1970’s. With that said, we were very impressed with the cleanliness, location and facilities. Hats off to the house keepers, they must run a tight ship. The kids loved the pool/sauna. Everything was within a very convenient walk, we did not have to drive for the 3 days we were there. Overall very lovely hotel. Only criticism is that they could update some of the appliances within the suite.

Quiet hotel conveniently located to walk to many of Victoria's attractions. The studio room was large with plenty of space and well appointed full kitchen with everything we needed to cook. A little of it is dated but clean and well maintained. Front of desk staff were very friendly and helpful. My child really enjoyed the pool which is older but clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

Always love staying here, we try to come over twice a year and always go to the Royal Scot. Today was especially good because at 10:30 am our room was ready, and it was GREAT because we were traveling w a young child and we needdd to change to go to High Tea at the Empress at 11! Thanks you all!

Great place & meticulously looked after: pool, hot tub, games room, coffee, etc maintained obviously many times throughout the day. Staff was really friendly. It’s lots of retired folks staying here but family friendly too. My boys of 13 & 10 liked it mostly because of the games room, pool table and we didn’t get time to play shuffle board. Room service looked after things everyday including our hide a bed. Will more than likely stay here again. Parking on site in lot also inside.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the property. We were upgraded to a larger suite with our own kitchen and dining room. The hotel is very conveniently located a stone’s throw from the BC Legislature and the Museum in James Bay. It has a family friendly pool and a games room. It is popular with multiple generations of family which was lovely to see. The only drawback was the restaurant on the premises. While the owners were friendly, the baked mushroom crepe was the strangest concoction with a tasteless dry egg/mushroom scramble filled with onions under a layer of cheesy crepe. The pancakes were better, and the coffee was passable. If the quality of food served on-site was even marginally better, the hotel would attract a different quality of clientele altogether. We will return to the hotel next time we are in Victoria.
