Coast Victoria Hotel & Marina by APA

This was a really lovely stay. I love hotels that have a restaurant just off the lobby and always smells great. We had an incredible corner room with a marina view and actually hung out in the hotel room quite a bit because it was so comfortable. The pool was fun and I think would be great for kids. The gym was great with the perfect amount of equipment to get a good workout in. The only thing that was strange was that you have to go into the pool area to get to the gym, when there is an available door to go directly into the gym. All they need is a key pad on the direct gym door. The way they have it now you are tracking dirt into the pool and vice versa tracking water from the ground around the pool into the gym. This must be a headache for the cleaners. But other than that we loved our stay here and would definitely go back.

We loved this hotel and we will definitely stay here if we come back. The room was beautiful, the location was great and we loved our patio overlooking the water. The restaurant had excellent food with a wonderful view overlooking the water. We will recommend this to all of our friends and family.

No room service, the pool was so cold it was unpleasant and while no lifeguard is fine an hourly walk through of a staff member would have made it feel safer (?) there were intoxicated adults drinking in hot tub and sauna, they weren’t threatening at all but inappropriate around children who needed to use hot tub/sauna to warm up from cold pool. Staff were amazing, clean facility but a bit overpriced for the lack of anything extra and restaurant has nothing for children, we ordered Skip the Dishes

One of the elevators was down made for delays going to room on 9th floor . We were put in a “pet” floor and the room next door had two babies crying a lot . Quite noisy .

Front Desk was very nice. Pool was great for the kids. Restuarant was delicious! Overall, view and service was really good! I appreciate the staff being so kind and helpful. Thank you!

It was so nice to stay in a hotel where our dog was considered a part of our family and welcomed as such. Lovely king room with a gorgeous view.

Great location, underground parking was reasonable, family friendly pool. Downside for us was not having a family friendly restaurant onsite, would be nice to have coffee in the lobby for early am checkouts.

The kids loved the pool and hot tub while the harbour views were magnificent. The balconies are super small but our room was large and the beds perfect!

This was the most disappointing hotel experience I have had. The cost of their basic room compared to that which we have paid at the four seasons and Fairmont, but the quality was what one could expect at the Super 8. The rooms were dirty (e.g. rust stains on the carpet) the ceiling was LOW, and the bathroom toiletries were extremely disappointing (i.e. no body wash just one full-sized pump jug of shampoo). When we brought our concerns forward to the hotel they stated that they had charged “what the market could bear” and their solution was that we pay an additional $50 to be upgraded to a different room. We were so incredibly disappointed by both the room itself and the staffs response to our concerns. This room would be acceptable in terms of cleanliness and amenities if it was charged accordingly, not at $400 a night. We will not be staying at the Coat again, and would mot certainly not recommend to our friends or family.
