Sandman Signature Edmonton South Hotel

Overall cleanliness throughout the hotel. Pool was a bonus for our little family.

We arrived with a dog and were placed at the end of the hallway close to the exit door. We thought it would be great, but unfortunately we heard the exterior door slam every time a guest would enter or exit. It kept us awake until 3 am. The thermostat was broken in our room so it was freezing, but the living area thermostat was working and that room was warm. Unfortunately we weren’t sleeping there. The bedroom door was so squeaky that every time we got up to use the bathroom in the night, it would wake the other person up. There was dust on the fixtures in the bathroom and we found hairs on the floor and in the ice bucket. The toiletries provided were useless. Who needs a shoe shine kit? I forgot my makeup remover and toothbrush and there were no additional toiletries. We tried to order room service and a drink so we followed the QR code and it guided us to order skip the dishes. No thanks. Booked this hotel for a romantic get away for the first time in 7 years away from our little kids but it was not a pleasant stay or sleep. We won’t be coming back.

This is a great property. Having The Chop attached to the building is very convenient. Nice variety of rooms for all family needs.

Last minute booking, because our first hotel pool was broken, and this hotel was next door. Over all great hotel, not the best for small family’s the pool is tiny, and loud, no Continental breakfast, also there are no usb charging points in the room. But very clean, and comfortable, with great service.

Rooms were tiny and dated. The pool was nothing spectacular, and the hours weren’t great when you have young kids. The reason we picked this hotel was location close to the outlet stores and the price was right compared to other hotels closer to west ed.

Very mint hotel. Sandman is a pretty good and reliable hotel brand especially this is a signature one. The room is clean and neat. We got an room upgrade to a jacuzzi suite and we stayed there for almost a week. We would highly recommend the tub in the room for two major reasons, one is it is fun for kids or couples, two is it would help with the dry air for those who are not used to it as Edmonton is pretty dry. For those who don't have the access to the room upgrade, you won't regret to pay the extra money to get this suite. The swimming pool is also an asset to the property as the water in the pool is warmer than regular pools which is easier to get in especially in winter time. Besides the pool there is also a jet tub which is bigger and deeper than I expected. It is located besides the section of the highway which is very easy to access to the roads to any destination. I am always concerning about the cleaning job of any hotel but this one really satisfied me as everytime we went out and got back, we always saw employees doing their job and they did it really well. Some employees from other hotels might do their job carelessly but not this one. It has two built-in restaurants and even if you dont like them both, you have tons of other options within a few kilometers. Highly recommend.

It’s an ok hotel. It’s newer so that’s nice but it’s quite dirty. The couches in the lobby or very gross. The pool is insanely small like one family can fit comfortably Ive never seen such a small pool. And the pool deck was not clean. It was an ok stay though for one night I wouldn’t stay again though.

Nice hotel, kids enjoyed the pool. Denny's breakfast was busy but convenient. Fair price for the room as well

Was their with my baby for medical appointments and staff were amazing friendly and very accommodating. Always love staying at this hotel, love the in room kitchens, it helps with children.
