Holiday Inn Edmonton South - Evario Events, an IHG Hotel

Close to family and amenities.

Property was nice. Rooms were nice. Staff was alright. Rented a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa pull out bed for myself, my wife and 2 kids. Had to pay an extra $30 for an extra person? And then the extra blanket felt like rubber and was terrible. I would definitely stay elsewhere next time im around town.

Remarkable; stayed with family and children and will do in the future. Highly recommended

Was woken at 0630 am by doors being slammed, a crying /scrwaming baby, and a dog barking.

We visit family in Edmonton every couple of months. Usually staying over at the nearby Home2Suites hotel, which isn't bad. Our stay at the Holiday Inn Evario Events hotel was even better, and we'll be staying here from now on as it's equally close to family nearby. The room was very clean, the staff were excellent as well. Breakfast buffet was included, which made things a bit easier with kids. One of the mornings, they had meat in the scrambled eggs. One of the staff members noticed we weren't taking it as we are vegetarian, and he offered to have the kitchen make us up a couple of orders of fresh scrambled eggs. Just one example of the staff being very customer service oriented and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you have younger kids. They have a pretty decent pool and fitness centre as well, which had a view into the pool area.

Booked the room on this app. We were staying with a group for a hockey tournament. Because we booked for a 3rd party app our children weren’t allowed to eat for free and we weren’t allowed the free breakfast. Every other time we have booked through this app this has not been an issue. Was not impressed with the front staff, housekeeping staff were awesome.

This Hotel is quiet and convenient. Perfect for my big family. My kids love the pool, I love the comfortable bed and clean rooms with full amenities.

Very poor costumer service upon arrive at 4 pm rooms not ready and up to 2 hour wait to get that figured out. went on a family trip to use the pool, pool was closed after kids used it for 5 mins. They did not have an eta for when pool would be ready we left the hotel after one night and got another one which was much better

Price was better than others. Location is far from WEM. Good swimming pool for family. No hot water bath in pool area.
