Banff Aspen Lodge

Very friendly staff. Rooms and amenities were good. Located on Banff street, which is great for evening stroll. Breakfast buffet was very well organized and great service. Hot tub was great but could have used a little stronger jets. Steam room was clean. Bathroom and shower near the hot tub and steam room was great addition, traveling with family, an extra shower helps.

Great room for our family of four. Walking distance and the family had a great time

When we arrived there was make up and hair on our sheets. We asked for the sheets to be changed and they came and handed us sheets instead of changing them themselves. I was in shock and trying to get my tired toddler to bed so we just changed the sheets. The next day in better light we see evidence of bed bugs on the top sheet that we didn’t use (many small blood spots - old blood not new) we scanned the room for bed bugs and didn’t see any so were just more grossed out than anything. I had to rush out to work. Once I was done work I provided lengthy feedback and asked for a discount. The manager told me it was my fault for not explicitly asking to be changed rooms. I received no discount, and was told I could’ve changed rooms At any point. I could not have, as I was at work and also trying to juggle my young family, it seemed kind of insane that it wasn’t their default response upon hearing my feedback at either times. Don’t stay here, it’s kind of gross.

We loved the outdoor hot tub with the falling snow it was magical. Nice and hot too. The stream room was nice. Lots of extra towels. Not sure where everyone was getting a housecoat from, but it would’ve been nice if we had them too. Probably have to ask front desk. The cafe is convenient and tasty. The complimentary breakfast was good. Great selection and fresh. Room was perfect for our family. Proximity to downtown was fantastic! We’ll be back.

The room was perfect for a family of four. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Excellent location on the main road and the service was great. Breakfast was superb. There was a large choice of food and I became addicted to their home made granola 😀 Only drawback was that our room was directly in front of hot tub so we had to keep our drapes closed all the time. Not a big deal though. Would highly recommend.

It was our first time staying there and my birthday weekend. The hotel had a small surprise for me and it’s much appreciated! The location is great , the breakfast is tasty and the staff are very friendly! Our family really enjoyed the stay. Thanks so much !
