Our stay was great. Check in was easy as was parking. The indoor pool, hit tubs were refreshing. The steam room was incredible. It was amazing. Left completely refreshed. My kids loved it. The breakfast buffet was yummy. Well worth the price. The kids are free. We originally booked a stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort only to realize that we paid $250 for a basement room. We quickly cancelled at Tunnel Mountain Resort and got our refund from Expedia. Then my wife saw Banff Park Lodge and we booked there which was a great decision. Even though it was one night we highly recommend it and would gladly stay there again.

There was a bug found on my bed in between sheets. I could not fall into sleep even the whole bedding was being changed. The front desk manager Steve and Amanda was not able to provide any insight from their pest control company and they kept saying this is normal since it’s Banff national park, other hotel could have found it, implied the bug could have been carry by customer. It sounds all Banff hotel could have put a sign saying-don’t panic, you may found a bug on your bed. The most disgusting thing was the sheets were not changed since I stay. So I sleep with a live bug for 3 nights which makes sense for my skin allergies and finger peeling. I will not recommend this hotel with any of my family or friends. I would give a 0 star if there is an option.

We love the BPL. It has been a family and friends go to place for over 25 years! We feel at home here and everyone is always friendly and wonderfully helpful. It's tremendous value and a fantastic location for many magical memories!

Everything was excellent except for one minor annoyance. ‘Quiet time’ at the indoor pool, listed as 9pm to 11pm, was not enforced. There were numerous children under the age of 16 who were unsupervised in the pool during these times.

This is an older hotel so the rooms are dated but they are very clean. The pool facilities are great for kids.

Great experience! The kids loved the pool. Easy checking in/out. Walking distance to everything like restaurants, shops, etc. We are happy with our stay in this hotel.
