Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Sofitel is our favourite spot as it is where we had our Honeymoon 5 years ago and where we plan to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The only issue we had this trip was that we had to wait for over an hour past normal check in time (after 4pm) for the room to be ready, and even then I had to try and approach multiple staff member before we were told that the room was actually ready. We were pretty disappointed by this as we only had the one childless night before having to return home and to have to spend over an hour of it sitting in the lobby was not ideal.

A super super hotel. Great hotel and a great location. This hotel really caters for tourists and families. The location beside the water is great and it's an easy 20 mins stride into the main city and only a further 5 mins to the bridge and opera house. I shall book this same hotel again next year. I have already recommended it to others.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Only feedback was it was disappointing our room was locked by the hotel with belongings inside on our second last day. Returning to the hotel after a hot day with a child and then a long wait at reception for the keys to be reissued was frustrating. I understand credit cards must be kept on file (mine was provided at check in as requested) however there was no communication that an error had been made (no email, call or text). Staff member provided complimentary drinks which was appreciated.

It was a family getaway, the room was very comfortable with amazing views of the harbour. The hotel is well placed, very close to all the restaurants & entertainments. The service was impressive. All the staffs were very friendly, accommodating, efficient & professional. Overall experience was amazingly awesome. We would come back again.

We visited the Sofitel darling harbour for a 5 night stay with our three month old and couldn’t have been happier. This hotel is in a great location and hotel staff are exceptional I especially loved the soft toy and baby slippers gifted to us on arrival

Fantastic staff, service, facilities. If we were to be critical, the lighting was difficult to operate in the room - lights were either all on or all off so once the baby was asleep we couldn’t see what to do! Also construction noise outside by the pool but unavoidable I guess. Overall would recommend.

Excellent location and local environment. Good for both adults and kids. Excelleent service, all staffs we met are friendly. It's easy to reach tourist spots, shops and restaurants by walk, light rail, train or ferry.

Perfect for family. Absolutely pleased will be back for sure. Only one thing I don’t like is all room lights on or off, would be better to keep one light on.

This place was so beautiful to stay at was very clean, staff were very quick with service and polite. Convienient to dining options and overall beautiful place to stay would go back again. Only downfall was not very kid friendly for children between ages of (6months-2years) but otherwise is fine

I had called a few days prior to our stay to check whether the outdoor pool was definitely heated and I was advised it was. When we arrived and went to the pool the pool was cold with only one jet working. Our toddler was excited about coming to stay and go into the pool. I had to request to change our room to include a bath so she was able to sit in some sort of water. Also, the rooms are quite small for what we expected. We have stayed at other hotels where the rooms and bathrooms were larger and can fit two adults and a small child and the price was less. Overall, disappointed with our stay for what we paid.
