It was fantastic, on arrival with 2 teenage grandchildren I was told I was updated. It was awesome, overlooking the harbor. The staff were very welcoming. We were going to the Lyric Theatre.

Loved our 4 night stay! Staff were attentive and room service was perfect! We would stay again as a family here. Walking to the museum and aquarium was quick and not far from the city.

Thanks for our fabulous stay, only for 1 night so would definitely book again. Excellent staff and the upgrade was a lovely surprise, much appreciated. Stunning hotel and I would recommend to family and friends.

Good size room, for two adults and two kids sharing twin beds. Light rail directly to darling harbour (can walk too though), paddy’s market, china town. Lovely pool area, great temperature. Food options inside complex and outside. Cole’s supermarket just outside the complex.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here for my 50th birthday for some quiet, relaxing time away from our kids and family. The reception staff were very helpful and so friendly. The young lady who checked us in upgraded us to their beautiful Jewel Suite free of charge which was such a lovely gesture. The room was wonderful and there was so much to do around the Hotel. We had breakfast at the Sokyo and wow was their food delcious. I also went to the Casino for the first time and won $200 which was a welcome bonus. Thank you to the staff for making our stay a memorable and enjoyable one. We will definitely come back to The Darling Sydney in the future. 10 out of 10 service!!!

We had a great, four-day stay at The Darling at the Star! All staff were always accessible, responsive and friendly, our room was extremely clean, as-new carpet, bedsheets, towels, and was thoroughly cleaned and tidied each day by housekeeping. The location was fantastic for the kids, so convenient to cross the Pyrmont Bridge and access all the tourist attractions and ferry services around Sydney. We couldn't have expected a better experience, would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. Even before we arrived staff were helpful and ensuring our stay would be comfortable. (Particularly Joshua). On arrival & throughout our stay staff were always available, friendly & helpful. The concierge team are fantastic. I travelled with my 2 children and staff were welcoming to us all. Thankyou The Darling you provided us with a fantastic holiday environment.

The room we had was not family friendly. There is no door separating bathroom area from living/bed area. This would be ok for couples I guess but not for a family which we were.
