PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney

Great hotel! We stayed 3 days with kid, he really have fun. The staff is very friendly and kindness. Thank you very much.

our room was noisy we had asked for a connecting room with friends but was told unavailable they put us between 2 families who were back and forth to their rooms. you could hear people talking in room next door. rooms are old, view was over buildings. breakfast was expensive so we didn’t eat there. the bar and bar food was lovely but the restaurant expensive and limited in choice.

The suite is great for a family. Can't wait to stay again

Thank you for another wonderful stay PARKROYAL. This is our second stay in Sydney, we will definitely return to the same hotel. The hotel room is clean, spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 small children. The location is very central and walkable to Darling Harbour, Town Hall, Chinatown and the mall is only just a few minutes away. The hotel staff are lovely, friendly and helpful.Buffet breakfast has good selections but can get quite busy at times!!!

We had a great family evening staying at the Park Royal. Our stay was comfortable our queen room as described with a full shower and bath in the ensuite, parking by the valet was wonderful and efficient and room service was quick and friendly. check in and check out was also pleasant and efficient

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the ParkRoyal, we have stayed before with our kids and really love the location. We walked everywhere. The rooms were clean and big enough for our family of 5. The only thing the children missed was a pool, especially travelling in January.

Fantastic stay for our young family. Location can’t be beat. All the staff was always looking to help to make our stay an even better experience.

Perfect hotel for our family stay at New Year, we had three rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were all spotless. Very good breakfast too, would definitely stay again.

We stayed here 7 nights and the experience is certainly NOT what I would come to expect for a “4.5-star” hotel. We arrived quite late on the first day after a late flight, only to find a pretty cramped room with very dim lighting. We booked a king bedroom with an additional crib for the kid. The bathroom had molded ceiling at the bath area and the bed sheets with dirty spots. The carpet looked pretty spotty as well. I then tried to ask for a change due to the bad cleanliness condition but after couple hours of typical back and forth with the hotel and Expedia, nothing was sorted out well into 2am and I gave up. I was about to check out the next day. The hotel manager in charge at the time looked into the issue and gave us a new room that is brighter and much cleaner. And we decided to continue to stay. Since then things were kind of normal until when we checked out. My wife had been suffering from bed bugs despite having asked for house keeping multiple times during our stay. Her last couple of nights were filled with itchiness and difficulty to sleep. And on the last night she even got woken up by a cockroach on her forehead that we eventually had to kill by ourselves. But that’s not all, when we reported these issues during check out today, the staff denied all the claims, quoting “it’s been raining so this [cockroach] is normal, just like your home”, and my wife’s wounds are “definitely not bed bugs”. What can I say…you can judge for yourself for your next stay.

We’ve stayed at this hotel many times as a family and this time was just as good, if not better! We got a complimentary upgrade, and had a sofa bed for my eldest and I must of forgotten to request a cot for my youngest and they got onto that immediately. Location is amazing, quick walk into Darling Harbour, not very far from Town Hall or ICC and China Town is a nice stroll away too! Can’t ask for anything better! We will be back!
