Hyatt Place Milwaukee/Downtown

Check in was smooth. The staff was wonderful . They took in consideration our young family and moved us away from 2 separate wedding parties staying at the same time. Also, best hotel breakfast in a long time. We'll be staying again.

Really great place to stay in Milwaukee. Safe, easy walking distance to the Bucks’ arena, easy walking to restaurants and right by the old Pabst factory, which is now a mixed use development. There’s a great little coffee shop in the old Pabst welcome center that is a 1 minute walk from the hotel. My wife and kids loved the hotel more than anywhere else we stayed on vacation

The parking is not on site. It is a block away from the hotel. Breakfast times are listed from 6am -10am. My family headed down at 9:15 for the breakfast buffet. The staff was already trying to close off the area. There was plenty of food left. They let us into the breakfast area to make a plate and quickly locked the doors to breakfast area while we were still in there making a plate. I had to unlock the door to let my kids out. We sat down in the dining area to eat and they quickly locked the door again. There were 3 other families that came into the breakfast area after us.

Great value for a family. Good location near breweries and across from Bucks stadium. Friendly staff. Clean. Great full breakfast included. Dog friendly. Big comfortable beds and pillows. Parking can be worked out by finding street parking and getting an overnight pass from the city of MKE (3 free per month) or pay them $40 for valet. I don't recommend this on days the Bucks are playing as it gets very crowded in the tiny parking lot. Would stay again.

Excellent service and everything is very nice from time when we come to the time when we leave hotel..Service receptionist are doing excellent job Ricky is the greatest man who helping as a doing excellent job for me and my family in the hotel…Thank you Ricky we will be back pretty soon and you are the best..Thank you Hayat hotel

I love the front desk staff, very happy and helpful despite how busy and chaotic it was! Our whole family had a blast and loved our stay.

The location was close to my family and friends!! I had a fabulous view on the top floor of the downtown area. The fire works from Summer Fest was stunning to see on the sixth floor!!!

When I went to check in, they had oversold the rooms and didn't have another room to accommodate my family of 5. They told me that I could get 2 rooms instead and pay for the extra room. They do not offer rollout cots. They stated that Expedia doesn't give them the information required, and it happens all the time. They then said that they probably didn't call me because Expedia didn't provide my cell phone. When she checked, they did have my cell phone but had decided just to not call me ahead of time. They refused to give me proof that they couldn't accommodate me, so when dealing with Expedia afterwards, they didn't want to refund me. This is the last time I book through Expedia or even consider staying at this hotel. I ended up leaving refusing to pay for two rooms to accommodate the 5 us instead of the one I already paid for. I am definitely disputing these charges with my credit card company.

Cleanliness was disappointing, no signs to put on the doors to clean the rooms, so no one did. We had a room for two adults and two kids so the kids used a pull out sofa which there were no extra pillows or blankets called down to the front desk said we needed to go down and get it that they can’t bring it up. A lot of stuff was just missing from our room, idk if they’re understaffed but it was not that great of a stay. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I was very impressed with this hotel stay. Staff was great. So helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
