Drury Plaza Hotel Milwaukee Downtown

It was fine. Pool good except lots of drunk people and little kids. Shower rod broken. Carbon monoxide alarm blinked all night long. But it was fine just cost more than a fine room should.

The room was great, everything was very comfortable and we were offered full housekeeping services during our entire stay. The free hot breakfast and dinner's were awesome! The dinnertime servers were absolutely outstanding. Some staff were less friendly than others, but that's to be said at any hotel. I was a bit weary about staying here as I usually stay @ a 4 star hotel when traveling as the lone adult. But my grandkids wanted to stay in the Downtown Milwaukee area and asked to stay somewhere that had a pool as well, so, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. I will definitely be back!

While eating breakfast, a little boy couldn’t have 2% milk. The employee said they would go to the store and got soy milk for the kid instead of saying they didn’t have another option. Very impressive!

Great for families. The 5:30 kickback was a nice perk we weren’t aware of until we checked in. That helped to tie our kids over for our later dinner reservations. Food quality is your basic free hotel food.

My family and I love staying at Drury hotels. We have stayed at the Milwaukee hotel many times and Drury hotels out of state. We have always had excellent service every time. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the Drury hotels is excellent. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. This recent stay however has been the first stay that we had a couple small issues. When checking in we were not told about or given the drink cards and had to request them when Kickback started During the Kickback it was busy as it was Friday night. There was a lot of times that when something ran out and despite the staff being notified we had a long wait to have the food refilled. I waited over 15 minutes for the hotdogs to be brought out. I don't know how long everyone else had to wait as we had tickets for a show at the Riverside. There were no soup bowls brought out the entire 30 minutes we were there. Again, staff was informed of this. We were not given or told about what the wifi password was and there was nothing in our room with this information. There was nothing in our room as to check out time, restaurant information, etc... Again, small issues and things easy to correct. The staff was polite and friendly and the cleanliness and room comfort was excellent as always.

Drury was a great place for my family to stay! We are hearty breakfasts every morning, splashed around in the pool, hung out in the lobby at night, etc.

The room was big and comfortable. My two little ones enjoyed the pool and the breakfast.

What I liked: location close to night clubs and restaurants, in and out parking pass in garage, the happy hour and free food, and clean. What I didn't like- the jaccuzzi was over capacity and the majority of the people in it were small children so I wasnt able to use that. The pool area was very loud with kids screaming so that was a huge deterrent. It was a bummer.

We stayed at the Drury for 2 nights and our experience was outstanding! It was a convenient and safe location close to the theater district, shopping and restaurants! The breakfast and kickback drinks/appetizers were AMAZING.. I really appreciate a hotel that makes you feel welcomed! My family was also able to enjoy the pool and hot tub as it was clean and enjoyable!
