We booked a family trip the Brewers/cubs game and stayed one night in Milwaukee. The hotel was close to the field. The area was good with lots of shopping and food. The room was a good size. A few items could use updates - bathroom wall had a hole that looked like it was a poor patch job, kitchen hanging light rattled when some above would walk in that area, thermostat in bedroom had low battery so temp couldn’t be changed (we ended up switching batteries out of the other thermostat to change it). Breakfast had a lot of options. Parking garage free for hotel guests.

Area very nice. Hotel very nice - clean, lots of space in the breakfast area. Pool was very cold - needs temperature raised up at least 5 degrees!!!! Remember it’s the parents going in with kids and we hate freezing!!!!! Breakfast was typical hotel fare. Location of hotel was nice - lots of nice restaurants around and a bunch of shopping as well!!! Will likely stay there again!

Check-in was 2 hours late and this is definitely a hostile environment for African American teenage boys. The general manager was hostile and very rude. He asked what brought us there and I said. It was my grandson's birthday and he said I might want to get another hotel because he's sure I signed a no party contract, which the desk clerk immediately told him she had forgotten. The thing is I was not giving a party. He said the boys smelled like weed. So I guess he's the hotel's drug sniffing dog. I only stayed because my son said he did not want to leave. The African American clerk appeared to be embarrassed. She was awesome but the general manager and the other white guest seemed intimidated by kids. These were nicely dressed kids, they're polite but I guess it wasn't a good look in their lobby. Maybe they will have the rooms clean at check-in time next time.

My family and I enjoyed bringing in the new year at this property. It is convenient and close to everything. Even though it was busy because of the holiday, there wasn’t any noise in my room from the hallway. Our only issue was the noise from the people in the room above us, which we assumed had kids, The staff was kind and courteous to us.

This hotel was great except for the security guard. She made it her mission to harass me and my family. I booked the room for 6 guests. We left off the premises and when we returned she got on the elevator to our floor and waited about 10-15 minutes and came to the door saying noise complaints. We did lower our music and sat down to eat. 5 minutes later she came back saying they wanted us out. Not a peek or noise. She them started if y’all are doing anything in here illegal you need to leave. We were eating tacos and about to play a board game mind you. I go to speak to the GM downstairs who was great and had no issues. From there she proceeded to follow anyone who went out to smoke and kept walking the hall past us. I had to go as far as recording us in the room as proof we were not making as the noise.

After traveling 8 hour's and arriving at 5 our room was not ready. It was supposed to be at 3. The staff person was very apologetic, apparently shorted staffed. He offered us a different room but wouldn't honor the same price. We went to eat and when we came back it was ready. The room itself was great. Nice and spacious for a family of 4. The pool was really gross. My kids wanted to swim and I swam with them. The water was cloudy, I kept stepping on things that i didnt know what they were. I made us get out after a few minutes. Overall, I would consider staying again as the room was great and so was the breakfast. But if i really wanted a place to swim I would go somewhere else.

The central location is convenient and the hotel staff are exceptional. Unfortunately the breakfast is horrible, the beds are unsuitable for sleeping. The sofabed is absolutely not an option for sleeping even for young children. Our rooms seemed clean on entry, strong bleach smell, but by the second day the vomit odor was pervasive. For a new hotel the furniture is already in need of substantial deep cleaning if not replacement. Overall I would recommend for a short visit, one or two nights max. The hotel pool is very small and gets overcrowded easily. Would recommend for a business traveler or for someone that needs a short term stay convenient to the hospitals. Also note, they charge a deposit hold from $50 to $100 based upon how you book. Upon check-in they said it would be $50...but upon checkout a different and frankly less than courteous front desk receptionist explained they charge a different hold deposit depending on who you book through.

Big room, plenty of space for our party of two adults and three children. Clean, very new feeling. Mattresses were comfortable, like most hotels, the fold out bed in the living room sofa was terrible, don’t love having a bar in the middle of the back. But throwing the mattress on the floor was more comfortable. Good breakfast, nice kitchenette in the room with a freezer for refreezing ice packs. I could’ve done without the partiers in the hallway at 3 AM. That’s not the hotels fault though. I would stay here again.

Very clean. Very pleasant staff. Not thrilled about guy with a gun. Not sure how you can prevent that but it scared our group including a family with children. Also did not appreciate pool guests playing loud inappropriate music.
