Embassy Suites Charleston

All the staff are nice and very helpful. It was nice to have a dinning area with great wait staff. It was a beautiful facility and the kids got a kick out of the glass elevator.

My only complaint was the noise all night. Both nights we stayed the room next to us was so loud my husband thought out daughter had left her phone playing and this was 1-2am and the other room had kids too. Thankfully my toddler was able to sleep through it but mom and dad were not so lucky I could have just stayed home and slept better and noise was never addressed for 2 straight night our complaints were ignored.

We had an amazing stay and I would definitely want to come back again! The staff was super friendly and answered any questions we had, even gave us recommendations on what we can do in town that they thought we would love. The room was amazing, you had plenty of space for your little ones to run around in and for you to put out a crib/playpin too.

The breakfast was great and the kids loved the pool.

Pool was unexpectedly undergoing work. We had booked the hotel as a treat for our kids thinking the pool would be available. The restaurant wasn’t open either due to construction, but they offered breakfast. All ok but would have appreciated a early heads up about these things given we booked the hotel for some of these perks. Our first room smelled badly of cigarette smoke so we asked for a different room. It was much better but all the living room lights flicker and make you dizzy. We turned them off to prevent headaches. The fire alarm went off at 7:45pm just as we had changed into pajamas. Luckily, it was a false alarm. Could smell pot smoking coming from a room on the third floor as we returned to our room. Despite all of this, it was a good night of sleep but for the price it was not quite hitting the mark.

The pool was not clean. It appeared to have a film on the water which prevented me from allowing my child to swim. The pool area was also not clean as well as there was debris all over the floor.

Ive stayed at this location several times over the year. Some rooms are up to date, some are not. . . which is understandable. The service was mostly excellent. The lady who cleans up the breakfast tables is very efficient and courteous. The gentleman who makes the omelets is always on point and quick, he clearly is good at what he does. Most of the front desk staff is not very friendly, with the exception of a man named Brendan. He was extremely professional and kind, he went out of his way to accomadate our family.

Amazing breakfast! Beautiful lobby. Easy parking and just what my family needed after a long day of travel.

Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. Only 2 of the 3 elevators were working, so lines got big at times. Breakfast was good! Staff was friendly. My kids enjoyed the pool.
