Great! I got an amazing deal, it was in a great location, right on the boardwalk and across from Grommet Island park which is great for kids. The room was clean, the ocean view was beautiful and we slept with out patio door open so we heard the waves crashing all night and day. Our room did get sprayed with a strong fragrance/cleaner before we got there which was unbearable and we had to keep both patio and main door open for about 24 hours until it aired out enough to be manageable, but I recognize there must have been another odor they were wiping out for us. Overall, great.

Perfect place to take a kid the playground is right next-door outside. Bathrooms are right next-door part of the beach. Also closest restaurant was Waterman. Can you catch the trolley right across the street.

We stayed at the Schooner Inn with our teenage boys who were attending a concert at Veterans Home Loan Amp. It is very convenient to the venue and while kids at concert, Dad and I enjoyed the beach and walkable dining and bars nearby. The hotel is old but it is very clean and you can tell they work hard to keep it up. It is also very affordable for beach front and it is the perfect location for kids with an amazing playing right out front on the beach. We can’t wait to come back and bring our toddler for a stay.

My toddler and I stayed here for just an overnight last week. We absolutely loved it. It was the perfect spot for our little getaway. He loved the ocean view and watching the birds and surfers and the jacuzzi was so nice! There are about a million options for delivery to this location so once we were in the room we didn’t have to run out for anything. Add in the absolute steal of a price and you can’t go wrong. We had a great time!!

This was, by far, the BEST hotel weve stayed at in Virginia Beach. Its quiet and away from a lot of the main attractions, which is wonderful for families with little ones. The room was so spacious and CLEAN! OMG IT WAS SO CLEAN!! The staff was super friendly! We definitely will be booking here again at our next stay at VA Beach!! 5 Stars!!!

The TV and phone were broken. Tire marks on the toilet seat. The next door guest were fighting and smoking weed. This property is disgusting, my family and I will NEVER stay here again. The female attendant at the front desk is rude and unprofessional .

Fairly nice room rented off season. Only soda machine was on 6th floor and it was broken. Toilet was so low to the floor that using it was very uncomfortable. Looks like it was made for a child to use. TV was very small. Whirlpool tub was nice and looked out over the beach. Low water pressure in the shower. Room was clean with a refrigerator and microwave and sink. Some glass and dishes were provided as well as dishwashing liquid and dish towels. Beautiful full length windows to beach with a small balcony for two plastic chairs over looking the boardwalk . Parking wasn't great. First hotel on the strip overlooking the beach and Rudee Inlet. On the other side of the hotel as you leave your room there is another nice view overlooking the boat harbor.

Very family friendly. It is at the end of the inlet, cul-de-sac for the boardwalk. There is a beach front playground right there in front of the hotel! Easy access to restaurants, the highway, community parks - this is a VA Beach gem! Staff is helpful, personable, and friendly, too!
