Avid Hotels Salem, An Ihg Hotel

I was in town for a family reunion. The hotel is easy to find, right off the interstate but tucked in enough to avoid noise for traffic. The staff was friendly and my room was very clean. My room had a micro fridge but no microwave. But I believe they do have microwave rooms for a little extra if you need one for dietary needs. Will stay again in the future.

A good place for a family

I love this hotel. The rooms were very clean. The staff was great. the Breakfast was good. And I slept like a baby.

Check in went smoothly but was very disappointed with the stay. My internet wouldn’t connect to any of my devices nor the tv to stream.. the receptionist tried her best to help me resolve the issue but she wasn’t able to help but she did try..the channel options was so limited there was nothing that I liked/enjoyed so after almost 3 hours I finally gave up and just went to bed.. & to beat it all when I ordered my food I was in the process of trying to fix the internet/tv,my food got cold so when I went to eat I come to find there was no microwave to heat my food so I didn’t even get to eat/enjoy my dinner after being stuck in the hospital with a family member all day, I just wanted to come to a hotel to relax and enjoy my dinner & amenities I paid for, instead it was the opposite it made my already stressful day even more stressful.

A great stay for our family, clean and quiet. Restaurants near by with okay spread of breakfast in the morning

Great for families

Room was really clean. Did see one dead bug on the floor in the room, but that was only negative. Breakfast could have been better. We had family staying in the Hampton Inn right next door and they had, eggs and meats and a waffle station for their breakfast.
