Bunch of kids were in town for some RVA thing. the hotel was full of teenagers running around, cutting lines and loud. it was a miserable time. had issues with room as well with stuff not working.

Close to Childrens hospital. $41 to valet is ridiculous. It was just me and a baby and struggling to get all the baby and his gear to the room and parking was a challenge. Room had too many scents. Very perfume smell in bathroom and closets. Tv didn’t work. Remote didn’t work. Poor food selections at restaurant

The property claims to have a pool on its website but the pool was closed “before COVID”. We have kids and chose the property because we wanted to swim after a long drive. On site amenities minimal.

Overall great property and great location. However there were only 2 working elevators and it was a busy weekend with wedding/receptions, college reunions and NASCAR fans. We were there for a funeral and had to wait for the elevators and when were able to use, it full to capacity. But it served its purpose. There was another family staying there and she has an issue with a staff member. I was there when she explained her situation and the staff person reacted and it was not appropriate at the time.

The hotel itself is fairly nice and the staff is very professional. The only thing that was of an inconvenience was the shower head didn't work so my family and I had to use the handheld shower wand when taking a shower. Also, the bathroom sink was slow draining. Other than that, it was an okay facility.

We had two adults and four children staying in a room that slept six. The room was smaller than expected but seemed clean. When the pull out bed was opened from the sofa was opened there was a fitted sheet that was dirty on the mattress. There were no other sheets in the room. No one answered the phone when we called downstairs several times. I went down the the front desk and was assured that sheets would be brought up immediately. They were never brought to our room. As it was getting very late we finally made due with some blankets that we had brought with is. The front desk staff was friendly.

I had a very nice stay. The only issue I had was, I booked a room with a king bed. When I got there, there were no more rooms available with a king bed. The associate told me she upgraded me to a nicer double bed room. The room was not an upgrade, just a standard double room. I was highly disappointed. I drove from out of town for date night and it was very less than desirable. Parents with a child or children know how very important it is for us to have date night, to queen beds were not it. Oh, well I guess!
