I used to stay here several times a year from 2016 to 2019. This week was my first time back post pandemic, and a lot has changed. The people that work there are very friendly and do their best to accommodate. The hotel and rooms are very clean and the beds are amazing, I sleep like a baby there. Many of the amenities that used to be there are no longer. Instead of sitting down for breakfast and lunch you order from just a few selections at a barista there. All three days of my stay there was a sign that said no lunch today sorry. Their coffee cups leak BTW. It’s no longer an actual dinner spot, it’s now a bar with bar food. If you’re not someone who cares so much about getting your meals at the hotel then it’s no big deal but I travel for business and rely heavily on the hotel restaurant and it no longer meets my needs. Parking-no longer through the hotel. A valet is on site but it is all done through a third-party. I stayed for 3 nights, and my receipt was texted to me. I was home by the time I got it and was charged for 4 nights. I called the hotel to have it fixed and was on hold for 12 minutes just for someone to take my name and number and tell me they would have someone call me back. Not that this is the hotels fault, but the neighborhood has gone downhill and there is garbage and dog poo all over. I used to adore Quirk, I’m disappointed in the direction. I found out it was owned by Hyatt and now is independent. I favor boutique hotels but liked it how it was.
