Decided to go and see what the Hilton in Richardson had to offer. I’ve been visiting a family member every two weeks from New Braunfels. The pros, parking, great location, close to restaurants, and nice property. Clean for the most part. Good restaurant and bar area. Why do they have to be so bright? Cons, maybe it was a bad wknd. So for two days i had no T.V. (first world problems right). I’m thinking batteries. So being that i carry materials for work i had some. I replaced them and still no luck. Called and let them know to replace clicker. I stepped out for few hours. Came back and no one maintenance hadn’t gone up. So i sat at the bar and killed 2 more hours. Checked again, they didn’t know. “Call your maintenance.” Still hadn’t gone. by checkout Sunday still no one showed. Then… Tried to take a shower. Two setting. Scalding hot and hot. No cold so i bathed from the sink. I called and told them to note both issues. It was at 10 by that time. The response was that they would note it. No mention of “hey sorry, can we try and rectify by finding another room?” Am i expecting too much? They said tomorrow morning before you check out speak to the manager to see about some kind of compensation. Svetlana, the desk manager was apologetic and referred me back to Expedia for any compensation for a less than stellar job. Hilton… you had one job. Shake up your maintenance crew

The only problem was they started charging for parking, which was a little surprise at the check-in process. It was not expensive but should have some type of acknowledgment upon the booking process. Overall, it was pleasant. This is still a great hotel I’d recommend to my friends and family.

The rooms was nice but very thin walls so you can hear other guests . I should checking out one day before because of a family urgency and they charge me the complete days and they charge you when you check in a deposit of 100 dlls and when you leave they said it will took 7 to 10 days to refund the amount to your card I think they need to just open the account without any charge in cae you need it I dont like you cant have you refund until one week later

I was very disappointed with the hotel. Our floor smelled like if the carpets were wet, we asked for different rooms in different floors, but the hotel didn't have any, they however sprayed something to mask the smell, this solution only lasted a couple of hours. The water in the pool was so cold that my kids couldn't swim for more than 10 minutes. Elevators were packed and slow. The bathtub on my room didn't worked and the drain had a lot of hair on it (yucky!!). Overall I expected a lot more.

I’m a local who checked in for 2 days after staying at a crappier motel after the storm on 5/28. We had serious tree damage, including a neighbor’s tree that took out the lines in the alley behind me so it was not a quick fix and I was stressed as a single mom of a high-needs special needs kid who was completely discombobulated by everything. The check-in process was smooth with a lovely and helpful young gentleman whose name I forget (he had an eyepatch), followed by another super helpful gentleman the following day who, when I had a question about additional charges I wasn’t aware of ($50/nt deposit x2), patiently helped (without judgement!!) split charges btwn cards because rent and bills were due and these were unexpected expenses. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice toiletries and towels, nice lobby and seating areas, plenty of parking, so quiet I didn’t even hear yet another raging storm my first night there, etc. My only complaints are a) the thermostat in the room was wonky and didn’t seem to register desired temp and didn’t cool properly at night which was annoying but not a huge deal and b) whoever decided to put the curtain openings at the head of the bed instead of the foot of it needs some sense knocked into them and c) the woman who worked the front desk the Saturday I checked out wasn’t the friendliest or most helpful. Would definitely recommend and/or stay again as, overall, it was a pleasant stay and a much needed respite.
