Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas Plano North

Room was clean, well designed, lighting was good, my kids loved the shower and the whole room. Especially 2 tvs, pool, large sofa. The people who worked there all hard working and very kind. Breakfast was just perfect for our family. hit the spot and although by the time we got to swim in the pool it was rather cold but my family enjoyed it even so. Great location, great look inside and out. Felt super safe. Thank you for such a wonderful night stay! If the Lord wills we will definitely stay here again!.

We first stayed at this hotel several years ago and come back whenever we are in the area. The lady at the front desk was friendly, offering our kids coloring books! The free breakfast is excellent - a wide variety of both hot and cold choices and the lady in the dining room has been here on each visit - she is helpful and friendly and makes sure the food display is always well stocked. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is quiet and clean.

We enjoy the closeness to our family and breakfast.

First, I swear the queen size bed is smaller than a standard queen size. My kid is 56" tall and was able to lay down sideways on bed and was pretty much end to end. It's definitely closer to a double (54") than a queen (60"). The other bummer about the hotel was being woken up one morning to a fire alarm going off. When we grabbed our must have items and walked out of the room we saw a few more guests walking out down the hall and one commented "It's probably the toaster again"...it was indeed the toaster. Negatives out of the way, the staff was excellent and parking was plentiful. You've got a million food options nearby, including the delicious Bavarian Grill that's a minute walk away.

Good location. Did not like that when I first checked in and entered our room it smelled very bad like smoke. 5 min later we called and reported the issue. The Front Desk lady came up to the room I guess to confirm if we were telling the truth. Asked us if "we touched" anything. Obviously seeing everything was to par and all our luggage was not unpacked. Understand it was 2 adults and 2 kids. Had this weird smirk on her face like she was confused and almost like we were lieing. I said ma'am.... I literally checked in with you 5 min ago. Yes they did put us in a different room but I honestly I didn't like the way everything went down. It was like we were guilty for something we didn't do. Just overall weird. Oh and the new room had a iron that didn't work correctly. Didn't report that as I am sure we were to get questions on that as well.
