La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Pflugerville

I have never in my life wrote a bad review for a hotel stay and I stay 2-3 nights per month. The staff was horrible. Not hospitable at all. In fact our group felt very unwelcome. Pool was closed yet we saw people using it nut when we came into hotel it was closed for some stupid reasoning. Our 16yrs old children were not allowed to workout, to swim, or even chat in the lobby. Some kids stay active and dont sleep all day. Hotel was clean but the unwelcome feeling from staff diminished any positive views. We you have 8 rooms booked and they treat you poorly its a reality showing our young adults that folks are not kind. This definitely has opened our eyes and we will no longer support LaQuinta Hotels. We stay in them frequently but will no longer be doing so. Highly recommend another hotel chain!!!

Excellent clean, good breakfast and pleasant for the family

Our stay was amazing. From the moment we entered to check-in, to the moment we checked out! Ghinesky, our check-in receptionist was very welcoming, wished us a comfortable stay, and was readily available to answer any questions we had with a smile on her face. That first point of contact really provided us with a reassurance of comfort we needed, especially since it was our first time ever staying at a hotel and didn’t know what we’d expect! I’m pregnant, and our comfort was the number one thing on my mind, especially regarding sleep, and our hotel beds here at La Quinta did not disappoint! As soon as I laid my head down on my pillow, I immediately fell asleep without any trouble. I have a hard time sleeping in my own bed at home and so imagine my surprise when a hotel bed made all the difference for me! I loved it! Breakfast was AWESOME as well (except the part where some parents were hogging the waffle machine… so that created a line that stalled many from getting waffles on time, although that is not the hotel’s fault). other than that, it was a great stay. My kiddos enjoyed their first ever hotel stay as well. They would arrive in awe every time we returned. It was memorable for us.

We went to the pool at about 930 pm. Other families were at the pool. My wife and I entered the pool, and at the side of the pool, embraced and began kissing. The “acting” assistant manager approached us, asked us to stop, and told us it was a “family pool.” We assumed this meant that he was asking us to stop kissing, which we did, but we continued holding each other. At about 950, we got out of the pool, feeling slightly embarrassed, and headed back to our room. 20 minutes later, there was an aggressive knock on the door, where the front desk lady and two cops were waiting. My wife and I were being intimate, and we were both startled and surprised at this response. We were informed by the cops that the assistant manager had told them that we had refused to stop “groping each other in front of children at the pool” and when asked to leave we refused. We were told that the assistant manager wanted us to leave or we would be arrested. I was shocked, angry, and embarrassed. I asked if I could close the door while we put our clothes back on and packed. The cops told me no, and they stuck their feet in the door. They kept the door open, while my wife and I had to put clothes on and pack. I asked that we not be charged for our stay, as we had barely spent any time there and we had not actually violated any rules. I was assured that it would be taken care of. We went next door and stayed at the TRU and had no problems. We were charged for the stay and offered no refund.

Breakfast was great, little gym is nice , room was comfy and tv was great . Family friendly , Bunch of dining and Target next door which is essential when you have kids . Staff was great and would always great with a smile!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and a great breakfast selection.. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Our air conditioning in my apartment broke last minute, in a Texas heatwave nobody has ever seen. A baby, a lab, and a married couple were able to check in on little notice. I even needed to extend our reservation. Everything was exceptional for being in the situation we were in. I was told I could easily extend, and we were able to do so. Room was big, clean, and a wonderfully firm mattress. Best of all, AC was set to 66! It’s obvious this hotel is not close to downtown Austin. But you’ll have everything you may need in the complex. If you are like my family where you debate on Whataburger versus In and Out, they have both right there! A target, a movie theater, and a barber shop are there as well. Thank you for your support in our time of need. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We work from home and our A/C went out, Emily took amazing care of us...from getting us checked in quickly between meetings to scheduling us for a late check out to accommodate meetings the next day. We appreciate everything she and the staff at La Quinta did for us and our fur baby!
