Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Round Rock

We had a joined room with family and there air conditioner didnt get as cool as ours did that was the only issue we had. Other than that it was a great stay and im glad they were able to give us a joined room!

Staff was very professional, friendly & responsive to questions. Having staff at front desk 24 hrs is rare & very good to see. Cleaning staff was very thorough, nice & good ~ always smiling. Breakfast was a good array & coffee available in lobby 24 hrs. I will refer coworkers, friends & family.

Fast & easy check-in. Variety of places to eat/shop just minutes around. Room was nice size and clean. Friendly staff. My usual place to stay when I'm down visiting family because of its location.

If your a transient worker and need something cheap this place is for you. The parking is limited however so it's tight for large trucks and trailers. The rooms are ok but this is a no frills property. Walls are paper thin so you will hear your neighbors conversations and televisions. My neighbors were night owls which was problematic as I needed sleep for my 15 hour days at work. The property serves a purpose but I would not recommend it for family travel.

Our family only had to stay one night, so the full experience of pool and relaxation for a day was not experienced however the room itself was a different story. The room was clean, stocked with linen (enough for each family member), beds were made nicely and very comfortable, and their pillows OMG I would love to have some for myself at home. Breakfast was a quick grab and go but I wish there were more options to choose from.

For the solo travelers, looking for a quiet place to rest up and take a hot shower, this place will not disappoint. I got some high quality sleep for a great price and the room was very comfortable with plenty towels. The mini refrigerator came in handy too. Great stay. I saw a lot of happy families as well.

Front staff let us check in early which was really convenient because we had a long wait in between soccer games. So we checked in and immediately got in the pool and my kids had a lot of fun! We loved how it was so quiet by the pool. It was very relaxing!

The pull out bed had dirty linen with crumbs and even dirty kids socks in it.

Easy check in and check out. Was close to where we were going. So good for one night. Pool was small but my kid didn’t mind.

Microtel Inn and Suites Roundrock was very underwhelming. We paid $129/night for a very cheap hotel. I was extremely displeased with the price. I don’t remember booking the room at that price. But on my Hotels.com app I was unable to find the details on the booking price. The hotel also charges a $100 fee???? Like that the hell is that about?! Total stay cost $297. (Stayed 2nights) The room we checked into had a shower only. And the design for it was terrible, because the carpet just outside the door of the restroom soaking wet. It was gross. Luckily we were able to switch room for our second night. The pool was extremely filthy with hair and dirt floating all around. We asked for pool towels and they only had ONE towel! There were only 4 other people at the pool besides my family, and the hotel only had one towel to handout. How pathetic. Never again would I stay at this hotel. Horrible.
