Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe/Houston

Love the resort, but service was awful. Parking lots were full, pools were crowded, and service at restaurants was terrible. We reserved a table at License to Chill for my 50th birthday for 25 people. They said no problem when we booked it. When we got there, the table was set for 18 people. The staff would not fix it at all. They were at a complete loss. My family finally started pulling tables together to make it work. There were hardly any other people eating in the restaurant that night. Food was sub par and overpriced. We did love our lakeside cottage though.

Property and rooms nice . But water park only a couple slides but geared more to little kids . Lazy river dirty couldn’t even see your feet . Not aware only clean room on request very disappointing for the high price of rooms . Also had to ask 3 times for clean towels . Thought there was a beach but wasn’t . Very overpriced and didn’t feel much like a resort to me

Me and my family enjoyed our stay. The staff is nice, and checking in and out was a smooth process. Valet service was fast and convenient.

I like the pool and the dining and it’s very convenient for kids

Had a great stay. The kids loved the water park and we will definitely be back!

For the money it is really a great property. It was lacking in food but short drive to Pizza Shack (highly recommend) or any other local restaurant was easy. There is a Starbucks on property with a snack area that has some easy grab and go choices and pizza for quick bites. Property was clean for most part but did notice lots of people left their trash instead of emptying in near trash cans but staff tried to get that picked up in timely manner it seemed. Things we wished we would have known… although I’ve chest and yeti cups aren’t allowed in pool areas it would have been great to have known they are allowed on property. So next time we would bring our own drinks in ice chest to keep in our room. Overall for the money this is a good bang for your buck. Not the nicest but a great option. Very very kid friendly.

Fun place for kids

Very family friendly. Lots of pool activities for kids of all ages. We had our 4 mth old niece as well as 7 yr old son and they all had a pool area for their age range. Sebastian from Valet service was awesome. All the staff were very friendly

We went for a long family weekend. Very friendly staff, Teresa at the front desk was very kind and helpful!!! Will definitely go back!

Everything was good except they need more activities to do there is not much other than restaurant, arcade, putt putt golf, water park for kids, and pool.
