Best Western Plus Galveston Suites

It’s a good value for a beach hotel. The breakfast was madness… so many people/kids, not enough places to sit down. The beds were not super comfortable. People are really nice

We had a great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was quiet and family friendly.

One of my favorite places to stay in Galveston! Canyon and Glenda made my stay very welcoming. Breakfast was Very Good. They were also doing upgrades on furniture while we were there. New Hideaway couches, New tables and dressers. I asked if new beds were coming. Not yet !! My room attendant I did not get there name, but they were Great also Making sure our floor was clean thru the week and new towels every day. Thank You All for all your hard work it made our family vacation THE BOMB! Also while we were there a dolphin washed up on shore. The Quick action of the staff and care for others(even animals) Help was on the way for this lil dolphin. Unfortunately we later found out the lil dolphin did not make it. However seeing everyone coming together to try to save another mammal was wonderful! Thank You also to the volunteer dolphin rescue group.

Great for families and awesome views of the beach!!

This property firstly was able to accommodate my family and I after the first Best Western property could not seem to locate my reservation in their system. This location was the perfect spot for dining, walking, and access to the beach! I would definitely stay there again, just need to tidy up a little on the smell of the facility.

Had to call the front desk 3 times and they still did not take care of my issue or communicate or follow up. Checked in and the temp in room did not go down it was 75 when we got there. Adjusted the thermostat to make it cooler and 2 hours later no change. Called down to front desk and Elizabeth said she would look for a fan and come to room to take a look and see what’s going on. 3 hours later I call back to front desk because no follow up or communication and she says she couldn’t find a fan and that the maintenance guy she will try to reach and see if he will come in. A few hours later and still nothing and now it is 3 am and the temp in room is 78 so it’s actually going up and not cooling at all. I call the front desk again and Elizabeth answers and says well the maintenance guy will be here around 6-7 am and she will send him up to look or I can change rooms. I am not gonna pack everything back up and then wake up my children to move to another room at this point. And still no maintenance man showed up or no one even bothered to call or communicate with me on what was going on. I couldn’t sleep my girlfriend couldn’t sleep it was hit and uncomfortable. I asked for a manager to call me to follow up so I could discuss with them my frustration and how I was treated and no one bothered to call or contact me at all. Terrible customer service and the worst stay i have ever had in Galveston and I frequent there a few times a month with work and fishing. I will never come back.

The staff was friendly. Based on the location and the volume the hotel was clean and relatively quiet. I appreciate the turkey sausage option for breakfast. I enjoy the balcony but the spaces in the rails are enough for a child to fall through. I would stay here again.

This was a very enjoyable stay for business. I will definitely bring my family back bery soon to enjoy a few more nights at this location!

Wow. Check in was fast and easy. She switched my room as i thought i had the 2 queen beds. And we ended up with a double queens and sofa bed. Balcony was beautiful overlooking the ocean. Hot tub was so amazing. The pool a bit of cold but kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was so yummy. Thr bacon is cooked very well and eggs were fluffy and soft. So much more offered. Beds were so comfy and ac worked so wonderful.

This hotel is the best of the economy hotels on the sea wall. Perfect views of the ocean from the balcony. Nice sized rooms for a family. Decent hot breakfast. It cabt be beat. I try to stay here any time I visit Galveston.
