Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas Central Market Center, an IHG Hotel

Smooth checkin and very new/clean facility. All went well until Guest Services called and woke us up at 1:30 AM only to say they were “just checking residency”. The same lady (who later identified herself as the manager) then called again at 2:00 AM. This naturally was unnerving, especially for a family traveling with young children. Very frustrating to have the night’s rest ruined. Breakfast options are quite good.

Pros - The hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The rooms were promptly cleaned everyday. The staff was courteous as well. Cons - The breakfast was repetitive. Broken pancake machine did not help either, especially with kids. The front desk was unmanned at times when we needed stuff.

I was able to see my nephew who is stationed in Georgia while I was in Dallas for the game. It was not a nice loss but being able to spend it with family and friends was great!

We arrived after 9 p.m. and had a quick and easy check-in. The check-in clerk was friendly and the security guard had a lot of jokes about football. If you're a Cowboys fan, make sure to talk to him. The room was very clean, you could smell the cleanliness of the sheets and comforter. That is something we always look for. The bed is extremely firm, a little too firm for me. I tossed and turned a lot. I also had to keep turning down the air. We wanted the room at 74, but it kept rising to 76. The hotel was nice and quiet, which was probably helped by us being on the 5th floor. There was enough room for us to put up the baby's pack-and-play and still have room to freely move around the room. Breakfast was disappointing. My son always looks forward to Texas-shaped waffles, but they instead had the automatic pancake maker. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and potatoes were also on the menu. The fridge was stocked with hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, milk, chocolate milk, and cream cheese for the bagels. There were also cinnamon rolls, cereal, bagels, toast, and oatmeal. The coffee was terrible, so make sure to use the Keurig in the room and stay away from the coffee brewed downstairs. We would definitely stay here again, as long as we only have 2 of our 6 kids with us. I appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the hotel staff. 4.5 stars.

Hotel was nice and family friendly. Breakfast and pool were good. Not much to do nearby but easy to get on the highway.

We arrived to the property well past 3pm, rooms weren’t ready had to wait over 30 min to talk to staff and then when I was able to speak to her (Ashley) she couldn’t stop complaining about how things and rooms weren’t ready, she said she had to go check on rooms and when she came back she switched our room saying that the room that was designated to us smelled like sewer. We were able to get a room more than an hour later. Checked the bed hair in the bed, we at some point placed something on the floor and there was a lot of hair on it, we asked for towels because they only had 2 towels for a 4 person reservation and she said we would have to come down. Our conclusion is our room was not cleaned. We had family also staying there and it’s a non smoking facility they had a room that stinker of cigarettes and had burn marks on the couch, they asked to be moved and Ashley refused saying the rooms where designated. Keep in mind the day before she switched us because she said it smelt like sewer in the room we were going to be designated. Don’t recommend this place

Great hotel, room super clean and comfy. Nice family stay hotel.

To start, Check-in was easy because Reservations were made in advance. The room was immaculate with a view of local trafic. My husband and I were pleasantly pleased. We rested well and a hot breakfast variety was available each morning. Management was present and involved during our stay. Thank you Ms. S. When in the area again, this hotel will be the one that my family chooses.
