Sleep Inn and Suites

It was right across a great breakfast lunch place and in a quiet neighborhood. Great places to walk and free breakfast great price for A&M family weekend. Very happy with it.

The air conditioner made a high-pitched squeal that we couldn’t live with, so they switched us, but we couldn’t even walk in that room because of the smell. Tried one more room that had a similar sound, but kept it because we just drove for 17 hours and was tired. They said they’d move us the next day when they had more rooms. Didn’t sleep well. The next day they said they could move us whenever we wanted as we were leaving to move our child into her college room. When we got back at night, they said all the rooms were gone and we were supposed to move in the morning. The staff was very friendly and apologetic, but that didn’t help my sleep. When we checked out, the front desk asked why we didn’t move!!! Breakfast was good though.

For the ridiculous amount of money that was charged due to it being “family weekend”, a $70 hotel room was $358.00. I wouldn’t complain, but expect the mold in the shower and caulking, as well as bare areas unpainted for a $70 hotel room. The AC worked very well.
