The staff was friendly, and the free breakfast exceeded expectations. I really appreciated the bunk bed in the room too. The only thing preventing a 4-star review really wasn’t the fault of the hotel, but maybe it’s because it’s a college town, there was loud and extremely rowdy guests. We heard them yelling and laughing in the parking lot and in our hallway at night. They were running, wrestling, and yelling in our hallway until THREE AM. I assume they were drunk, but I traveled with kids for a National track event and they all needed their sleep, but did not get sound sleep because of how loud and wild it was. For that reason, I wouldn’t stay again with kids.

The hotel room was very comfortable. The double beds was a nice touch for my two kids. They were able to have their own bed and not fight. There was enough space to put all our luggage as well. The room was very comfortable.

People were nice but air conditioning never really cooled the room. Parking was difficult which we didnt think wouls be a problem on a Wednesday night. When asked for another blanket for one of the kids, they were out. But room was clean and the people ar thr desk were nice and helpful.

Hotel was old and upgrades were superficial and cheaply done. Breakfast was not a buffet and it was horrible. Game room was fun for kids. Front desk staff were very helpful.

My family and I have stayed here on previous trips. We like the customer service, design of hotel, rooms, location. I do not like the windows not being tinted… where we can see out but no one can see inside! That is a negative.

Wow! Where do I begin! I luckily only had to stay at the property from 10pm- 9am and that was more than enough. The lobby was muggy like the AC was out upon entry. As we got on the elevator you could tell the AC was definitely having issues. Once we got to our floor it was hot and muggy. We went in our room and turned the AC on that barely worked. The room was incredibly humid. The beds seemed clean and comfortable so we were happy about that. Then we went to take a shower and there was NO water pressure to the point I had to wash shampoo out of mine and my childrens hair in the sink. Then we started hearing a beeping sound in the hallway. The beeping was coming from the AC system that was exposed in the hallway. That night I went in between the humidity of the room and the beeps from the AC system keeping me awake all night. In the morning I noticed that the floor of the room was sticky and the rug in the room was moist. My children had been bare foot and when I checked their feet they were black! They showered the night before. I honestly wish I would of just stayed at a motel 6 given this “ boutique” experience. I guess if I was 18 and blackout drunk this would of been fine.

We’ve stayed many times at this hotel…but this past stay will definitely be our last!! Most of the staff is friendly and accommodating but there are a select few (the bartender, Chef, and the long time breakfast host) who desperately need to learn what it means to work in the hospitality industry. Over the course of our many stays we have enjoyed the bar area’s live music, always ordering multiple rounds of cocktails and food from the Revelry menu. We’ve always obeyed the signs posted regarding no outside alcohol, but have never seen a sign regarding outside food. When we ordered outside food delivery for our kids we were told, very rudely, we would be “kicked out of the hotel if the chef even saw any outside food in the lobby.” Like I said, we’ve eaten outside food in the bar area multiple times as well as ordered food from the bar. It has never a problem before. I also tried to order a glass of milk and was told “they don’t have milk.” Not true. There are gallons of milk set up for breakfast everyday. The Chef spent the entire weekend sitting in bar area on his laptop sending the bartender to do his dirty work. Shouldn’t the chef be in the kitchen and/or more concerned with doing everything to make the customers happy? For the record, we had every intention of spending the evening at the bar ordering rounds of drinks and food but was forced to hide in our rooms, so our kids could eat their pizza, and drive to the gas station for a carton of milk. Absolutely ridiculous!

While some parts of this hotel show its age and ceilings are low, it has been thoughtfully remodeled. The king size bed was awesome to have and very comfortable. I slept great. The twin bunks were hard and the bunks rickety but having separate beds for my teen kids was nice. The amenities are awesome! Breakfast was great; very fresh fruit, waffles, good bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs, decent coffee, milk and cereal options. There’s a bar open till midnight and you can order dinner at the on-site restaurant until 10 pm on weekends. The whole place was kept chilly on a 103 degree day. There is a pool, and a game area with a pool table. The price is usually lower than many surrounding hotels and we will be back.
