Was worried when I saw some of the reviews on here, but after having stayed for 3 nights I can’t think of anything to complain about! Complete control of the aircon, clean rooms with plenty of space, comfy beds and black out curtains. Slept like a baby! Great location on Main Street where the trolley starts. Staff were friendly and helpful. We decided to drop off our car but the car park looked safe and was well lit.

My family and I stayed at central station and we enjoyed the atmosphere very much! It was such a cool place to stay with amazing vibes. The rooms are nice and clean, I loved that they had music playing for me when I got in my room. This hotel is a must stay if you are spending any time in Memphis !!

This was absolutely the worst hospitality experience I’ve ever had in my life! As an individual & veteran that has been in the hospitality industry for over 35 years, coming from very humble beginnings, I usually don’t complain about much; however, I was completely taken aback by what happened last night. I had flown all the way from California, went to handle some business and visit relatives In Arkansas and looked forward to giving your establishment a try for the first time in my life. We showed up at the hotel very late and tired, only to be told that they didn’t have my room because of over booking. She did say she was sorry & there was nothing she could do, but I asked whether any other room was set up for us elsewhere & she said no, and after I complained about not getting a call ahead of time that could’ve prevented me from driving the additional two hours round trip to Arkansas, it wouldn’t have been as painful, as all other hotels in that area were fully booked, and I’m not very familiar with Memphis. She said since it was a third party booking through Expedia that Expedia was called. Expedia said they had no such call! In conclusion… I’ve been a businessman for most of my adult life, in short I would like to know what you plan on doing for me and my family for the lost money and time spent? Please advise at your earliest convenience. Jesse 360-362-6260

Right by the trolley stop. Top floor was very quiet. Our kids enjoyed it.

Parking was a bit confusing, we had to go past the hotel quite a way and then pull into a narrow road that opened up into like a public lot (you pay for parking with the hotel), but the hotel lobby is directly off the lot. Since the hotel is housed out of the old train depot, there are many places to explore and get lost (that's a good thing). We stayed in a nice room on the 7th floor. The kids loved that the blinds and curtains were automated by the buttons right inside the door, but it took us a bit to figure that out. The bathroom is ample, but has a sliding barn door and no lock. We decided to take the stairs down the first time and that was an experience! The stairs were on the outside of the building, ended on the 4th floor and then we walked across a roof and then into another building. We ended up in another corridor and explored for a bit before we found the main hotel. We spent the day exploring around the hotel seeing the Civil Rights Museum (a must see!) and going to Gus' Famous Fried Chicken for dinner (a must eat!). The beds were very comfortable and we had a lovely sleep. We were supposed to stay another night and had planned to see the rest that the hotel had to offer (music, bar, restaurant), but unfortunately my husband woke up not feel well and then tested positive for Covid, which cut our road trip short. The staff was wonderful and reimbursed us for the next night and for parking. I can't wait to stay there again next time we come to Memphis!
